Exactly. It´s simply the way the industry worked back in the day. Writers and artists were basically treated like s*** till relatively recently. Back then, only artists took credit for the creation of a character. Finger never even asked for credit in his day. You think the Finger/Kane situation was bad, you should have seen people who worked for Disney. Carl Barks wrote and drew the all-time best Disney comics and nobody knew who he was till a LOOOOOONG time after the fact.
