Bohemian Rhapsody

Do you guys know what Malik looks like? Or Mercury for that matter? They don't look remotely alike. Not even a passing resemblance. I suppose coming his hair back and adding a mustache is enough?

:whatever: Man, they're just total opposites. You make so much sense, thanks for enlightening us.

Rami has a sharper jawline and Mercury had a hairier chest. The horror!

It's close. As in, really close. Go watch some other biopics and take into account the actor's resemblances, it's never exact. Phoenix wasn't some Cash clone, for example, and didn't have to be. Malek's more than similar here.

Love it!

This looks even better than the first trailer showed it to be.

So hyped!

Rami might be getting a nod if he nails the mannerisms. I feel like he's earned one for Mr. Robot.

Nice the 1st Trailer sold me this Trailer has me there opening night.

That trailer might have made this my most anticipated movie for the rest of the year besides Halloween.

Should be good. Singer's a hell of a director when on his A-game, even with all of his personal bull****.

Looks great.

How much of the movie did Bryan Singer direct? I noticed they don't use him at all to sell the picture like, "From the Director of The Usual Suspects and X-Men" or something like they would usually do.

Pretty good trailer. I'm seeing this movie anyway.

Now that was a damn near perfect trailer. Epic stuff.
The hole thing gave me chills.

This movie is gonna be freaking amazing.

I'm not sure how much of it he directed, but given all the recent controversy surrounding Singer, I'm sure they'll be keeping his name to an absolute minimum in marketing, if at all. Honestly though, unless it was someone like Spielberg, you really don't need to put the director front and center in marketing something like this. Queen can sell a movie.

The trailer made me a tad emotional. Watching the memorial concert for Freddie is one of my earliest childhood memories and I've grown up listening to Queen thanks to my parents. I really NEED this to be amazing. Freddie deserves nothing less than the best.

It looks like a typical biopic to me. But of course, the music is excellent.

You're using a heavily airbrushed photo as comparison. He doesn't even look like that in any of the footage we've seen.

Look, he may very well make a good Mercury, I'm just saying he doesn't particularly look like him. Or, to borrow from a comment I saw on another message board, if he does, it's about as much as someone in a Halloween costume would look like him with the fake mustache, and slicked back hair. You know the person is supposed to be Mercury, but that's as far as the resemblance goes. And my original comment was in response to the idea that a few more prosthetics would make him look more like Mercury.

I’ve watched this trailer like 10 times today. Goosebumps every ****ing time.

Massive Queen fan. But I’m slightly confused, is this meant to be a biopic for Mercury? It looked more like one for the whole band.

My only question is: how they gonna highlight all the bops? There's just too many.

It seems it is for the band but moreso him overall. And obviously what he did for the band. Seems very obvious. How is this so confusing? I dunno but yeah.

I suspect we'll be hearing most if not all of their greatest hits album from the early '80s along with some of what came afterwards like "I Want to Break Free" and "The Show Must Go On".

I was under the impression this was a Mercury bio pic originally.
