SPECTRE opened on Monday in the UK and will open worldwide soon. I saw the film today and loved it, but now thoughts turn to Bond 25, another landmark for the franchise.

So I figure I might as well kick things off with a new thread and everyone can throw in their ideas of what they'd like to see next.

Personally I am expecting somewhat a continuation and given how SPECTRE ended I can see the pre-credits sequence being [BLACKOUT]Blofeld's men breaking him out of wherever Mi:6 put him.[/BLACKOUT]

In SPECTRE we saw the return of the snow chase sequence and in Bond 25 I'd like to see some underwater action, another staple of Bond not used yet in the Craig era!

You Only Live Twenty Five Times

It's been ages, but I think we should get a faithful adaptation of Fleming's penultimate novel, hopefully with the Garden of Death included.

One of the few Bond novels i read, and i frankly wasn't impressed, liked some parts, but wouldn't want to see it completely adapted.

I think it's perfect for a climax to Craig's tenure, and from the reports of SPECTRE, sounds like a natural follow up.

Is Craig coming back for another or is Spectre his last?

I want the title of the film to be Devil May Care. It's the title of the last offical Bond novel by Sebastian Faulks.

Last and only you mean, because it's not the last overall official Bond novel, since then there have been three more official Bond novels: Carte Blanche, Solo and Trigger Mortis.

-Pre-credit sequence: Blofeld escapes from MI:6 custody.
-Bond is still living with Madeleine somewhere.
-SPECTRE attacks, Madeleine is killed.
-Bond flips out completely, goes on a rampage of revenge.
-A climatic showdown with Blofeld, where both a presumed dead by the end.
-Last scene shows that Bond is alive.

Another "On the run with no backup" type story?

I would have

Swann killed in the pre-credits sequence

Sort of like the bourne supremacy. Also have bond back in a casino setting to sort of close out Craig's era. Maybe play a hand of poker.

I don't want [BLACKOUT]Swann to be killed and then Bond going on a revenge spree. It's repetitive of CR and QOS.[/BLACKOUT]

I always wondered if they could use The Man Who Sold The World as a title. It fits a Bond movie like a glove IMO.

The Bond "Supremacy"

If the next Bond film ain't "Shatterhand" I shall be disappointed.

But how do we even know Spectre will be a commercial success ;) just kidding, it so is.

Yeah but didn't it cost like $300 million?

$250 million but that isn't counting the marketing expenses which are likely around $50-$100 million.

It will make it all back and then some. Since SPECTRE is a sequel to a critically adored film that made over $1 billion it film would have to be truly rotten (30% or lower on RT.com) to bomb.

Does Spectre end on a high note? That is to say, does it have an ending, not a cliffhanger, and could realistically be Craig's last film?

In some ways yes, in other ways no. There's a big element that's left to continue whereas there's some closure elsewhere.

If that's the case, I say Craig should do one more, just to tie up all the loose ends.

But damn, it feels like they've been making new loose ends since 2006. I don't really care for all of this being one huge story. Just give me a Bond film already.
