Well....the Bones/Booth plotline was okay, but the other half of the season premire sucked.Lame, lame, lame. This does not bode well for Season 4, seems just as poorly written and rushed as the second half of Season 3...Hope the writing improves in the next episode.

Coulda done without all the Marriage drama, but most of it was gold. Sweets is defiantly an awesome character.

Yeah, Sweets was the only good part about the non-Booth/Bones storyline.

I really hope the writers get their butts in gear soon, because so far...I'm not impressed.

The whole [blackout] oh i dont trust you oh you arnt stopping me so you must not love me[/blackout] scene made me wanna just turn it off, but luckily there was enough B/B to keep me interested.

I just hope it doesn't get the same treatment it did last year, where it would have 5 episodes, then virtually disappear cause of MLB/Idol/other shows and just randomly we'd have an episode or two in a row then it'd be gone for another 4weeks.

I've never watched this show but was gonna watch it last night cause i saw previews that Indira Varma would be on there, as they were in London, England. How was she?

Spoilers alert:

Brief version:
Although he was sent to jail at the end of series 3, it seems Zack will be back for series 4

Long version, courtesy of TV Guide:
Sure, he was nabbed in the season finale for being, well, the apprentice of a serial killer. But don't scratch Zack from the Jeffersonian's team of crime solvers just yet. As series creator Hart Hanson told me a while back, Eric Millegan will continue to appear on Fox's Bones, even though his alter ego now is behind bars. David Boreanaz tells TVGuide.com, "Zack's not really going anywhere. We will see him again throughout Season 4, in certain circumstances."

First up, Boreanaz says, is "an episode where [Zack escapes] and actually helps us solve something — and then I have to go put him back in prison, which was pretty funny. I'm sure some people are upset about [him being revealed as the Gormogon's assistant], but.... where Zack is right now benefits the show in some ways."

Plus, Boreanaz says, the why and how of Zack's criminal leanings "will be explained a little bit deeper when Zack comes back."

Bones kicks off Season 4 Wednesday at 8 pm/ET, with a two-hour jaunt to the U.K. Watch for Zack to first resurface in a late-September episode. — Matt Mitovich

I thought it was a good opener for this season. I honestly don't care about anything other the the Booth/Bones relationship so as long as they stay fun, I'll stick with the show no matter what else is going on.

Watching the London set episode, did not take long for the Brit bashing to start!!

it was good to see Zack again in last night's episode

They are putting the witty banter a lot more upfront this season. I really like the psychologist actor. I remember him from Freaks and Geeks.

Hrm. I wonder why this thread doesn't get a lot of action....

I still love this show. This passed week's episode was fantastic.

So far I haven't been impressed with the most current season...debating not watching it anymore. there is just wayyyy too much relationship crap and not enough crime and science. It's becoming like 90210-Bones.

The show has always had quite a bit of character relationships going on. That's what makes it a strong show. It's not CSI. But it's sure as hell not 90210.

My Fiancee loved this show, but she is even getting turned off by the stupid plotlines. I'm hoping it get cancelled so the staff can work on projects that actually have decent writing and some forethought on these storylines.

Personally, I wish David Boreanez joined Law & Order instead of this wanna-be CSI crap.

I hadn't watched Bones since season 1 (TV problem), but I finally watched a new episode the other day and it seemed just as good as it ever did, but do they still use that face generator thingy?

I find it strange how people complain that Bones has too much interpersonal relationship subplots for the typical, CSI-style crime procedurals. At the same time, they complain how it's a CSI wannabe. The very fact that they inject lots of character-based subplots mean they aren't trying to be CSI!! Personally, I love this show. As far as crime shows go, Bones and NCIS top my list.

I was fine with the previous seasons....but now Bones has gone over-board...to the point the "who's dating who" plot lines are larger than the actual crime plots :P

I disagree. I think the only annoying romantic issue is the will they wont they crap between booth and bones, which has basically kept the characters tension high enough to be interesting.

There aren't a lot of relationships on the show. There was Angela and Hodgens for awhile, then they broke up. that's about it.

Bones dates someone every once in awhile. That happens. she's supposed to be a person. Albeit a socially inept one.

I love Hodgins. :) "King of the Funeral." :lmao: And last week's bouncing turkey and when he had to say to Cam, "We're not allowed to be in the same room unless supervised." :hehe: Plus, those teeny little curls in his hair and those blue eyes.

At first I hated the way they gradually made Bones more inept at social situations, but Deschanel plays it so well. The way Booth had to nudge her so say the right things at the funeral.

The episode last week with the Death Metal killer, I loved the scene were Bones started spilling her guts about her parents at the end.

I had to check IMDB to makes sure i was still HETERO.Dudette, stupid Angela.

Don't play with me like that television unless you're Maury Povich.

Anyone else think that Angela was just going to do that Japanese cop?

Nah... more like the Japanese anthropologist. Except, she's celibate for the moment. Really found the male/female question hilarious. Anyone familiar with Japanese media would definitely get a laugh at that jibe on androgyny.

P.S.: If you want more emotional turmoil over your heterosexuality, might I present to you Mana of Malice Mizer. He's a dude:
