tbh I love this cast so much I probably won't even care if it's messy.

I will never not love this.

Now available, I plan on watching this later tonight.

Chase scene is f***ing spectacular.

Holy s**t, does Gyllenhaal live up to that image up there.

I'd totally watch his nature show.

Christ, the second half is dark.

Tilda Swinton in GOAT-Mode

Amazing movie, A lot of light, a lot of dark.

Oh there is a after credit Scene by the way.

Christ, the second half is dark.

Yeah, after the chase the movie takes a huge turn

Not sure how I fell about the ending. It's so abrupt and kind of feels like a compromise.

Yeah, I'm still unsure of the second half. Will probably have to rewatch it.

This is a weird, charming and crazy movie.

Really liked it.

I had a grin while watching most of this. Some of the acting from the none asian actors was kinda meh. Swinton was underwhelming to me. Gyllenhaal was nothing but tasty ham with his scenes. Lily Collins seems to me like the typical hollywood my dad is famous connection thang. No real charisma. The interaction between the little girl and her pig was nothing but sweet. Yes, the message of this film is very clear, and i did cry during one particular scene, but pork still taste so good. Darth might be the hype version of Paul Dano's character, huh.

8.5/10

...

The acting was great and yea that chase scene had me on the edge of my seat. But I felt like there was something missing, i think it might be the abrupt ending. I also wanted to know what exactly it was the ALF people witnessed in the lab footage when they bring out that male pig...

Did they force the two pigs to mate?

If that's what that scene was damn that was dark...didnt expect for it to go that dark.

That's exactly what happens.

Which, I guess, means...

Okja could be pregnant by the end of the movie.

She's gonna have franchise babies lol...They also took home that one piglet at the end too.

Man Im shuddering now that I know thats what those noises were when the movie cut away from the footage, For some reason I thought that was Jake Gyllenhaal's character making those noises lol.

Man I really enjoyed this movie.

Like its title character it is a bit of strange beast but overall I found it more cohesive than some reviews implied. While it goes into some pretty dark places, personally it all flowed and felt of a piece.

I liked the way the film handled the ALF. The film was honest about the way those kinds of extreme environmental groups can also use animal's suffering for their own purposes but at the same time it showed how truly committed those characters were. In general they were surprisingly well rounded.

There is a great cast hear but how goddamned great is Ahn Seo-hyun in this? It couldn't have been easy acting opposite whatever greenscreen stand-in they had but she really sells the connection between her and Okja. Also her interactions with all of the adults were consistently great.

This film is the prime example of how CGI does not have to be a deterrent for connecting with a character. It has always been the surrounding actors that have been able to sell our connection to clouds of pixels or piles of rubber. The artists did a great job of bringing Okja herself to life though.

Gyllenhaal, man maybe a bit too far this time around.

It's pretty obvious that's what happened [BLACKOUT]Jake G even says "here comes your boyfriend."[/BLACKOUT]

Have I mentioned how much I love the way this film's poster references Pink Floy'ds "Animals." Very clever. Great design.

I liked this movie, didn't love it. It was at it's best when it was a Wes Anderson Studio Ghibli film, but strayed from that pretty quick in the second act.

Gyllenhaal's performance reminds me of Ledger's Joker.
