OMG I just saw this on IMDb:

Boondock II: All Saints Day (2005) (in production)

Let's everyone Riverdance!

A couple weeks ago, Troy Duffy updated his site and said it's still on the way.

Can't Wait! Boondock Saints surprised the hell outta me! The narrative was great, the action was superb, and there are nothing but great performances. It's still great with repeat viewings.

I just watched it again yesterday and it is a damn cool and funny movie. I hope the sequel will be equally as good or better.

This movie is a true underrated classic!

I liked the first movie, it was pretty good and the actors did a great job. My only problem was sometimes it was really hard to understand what the hell they were saying.

:p Then watch it with subtitles...

I'm not holding my breath for the sequel. I've been hearing ahout this since 2000.

As a REAL irishman I thought the movie was a little Lame.
An interesting idea, but poorly executed. like 'The Way Of The gun' it was TOO far fetched in its depiction of violence and valor.
I liked the 2 main characters and found camp Dafoe Amusing, but did NOT buy Billy Connelly (scottish comedian) as the scarey prisoner commando.

I really thought Dafoes 'look the other way' attitude at the end was a little silly.

Plus that bearded maniac that befriended them was really annoying.
I like the 2 main characters though.

new ( I think) info:

Sean Patrick Flanery .... Connor MacManus
Norman Reedus .... Murphy 'Murph' MacManus
Marley Shelton .... Eunice Bloom
Clifton Collins Jr. .... Romeo
Billy Connolly .... Il Duce

And there are rumours David Della Rocco will be back too.

interview witht troy duffy

Also I was wondering if you could give us any details on the character
of
Eunice played by the lovely Marley Shelton was just featured in Sin

> 11.) Thanks for your time Mr. Duffy. NO PROBLEM

The story starts with a bit more in depth on the court house scene which ended the last film. As soon as they blow Yakavetta away, it is revealed that the MacManus father and sons have been hiding out deep in the glens and valleys of Ireland for three years. Connor and Murphy are quite content with this "natural" life and their pasts begin to seem faded and worn. But soon they recieve a "sign" and are called back into action as a pastor is murdered in a Boston church and the crime scene is staged to make it look like the work of the Saints.

from IMDB

Wait people is it Boondock asints, or brodeirck saints?I always thought it was the latter?..We are talking about the one with the guy who played young indiana jones, and william Dafoe was in it right?

Boondock Saints.

Without Willem Dafoe, or someone with the same ammount of talent I don't see this working. I mean, at least to me, Dafoe's incredibly enjoyable performance was what made the movie. I mean... bought the DVD for the "and there was a firefight" sequence alone... it's not that great a movie if you strip it of Dafoe's performance.

Defoe dressed in drag for christ sake..your gonna miss that..????
