Civil War #3 - Wow, one issue and a couple of panels completely made me turn against my child hood hero. Spider-man acted NOTHING like he ever has before. He was a complete ass and actually threw punches on Captain America and DD. Spider-man actually sided with Tony Stark over Captain America which is mind boggling to me. He cracks jokes and taunts against the "heroes" while attacking them. This is not the Spider-man I remember. Daredevil his best friend and just like nothing attacks him.

Iron man talks about "not wanting to fight" yet he throws the first punch by setting this whole trap up.

Meh, whatever. Issue was alright. The weird thing is, I love the idea behind this event and actually enjoy the event as a whole. But Marvel has no idea how to write Spider-man anymore. He would never taunt Captain America like Captain America is nothing and attack Daredevil the way he did. He would never have sided against those 2 men.

It was good but not as good as the first issue. Xavier shows again why he's a **** and we see how and why Havoc os on the team.

And anybody that doest feel like Spidey was a prick in CW needs to read it again. The pro side actually came across as the good guys for a sec until Spidey started talking and fighting.

The very first words out of Spider-man's mouth were out of character.

Spider-man actually seemed like a villain in this issue

I'm sure Cap and his crew know who the guy staging as DD really is, and if the rumors are true about who he is there's no reason for them not to trust him as his old buddy probably vouched for him.

either theyd find it strange it wasnt murdock or they wouldnt cos they wouldnt know who DD was in the first place (refusing to believe its murdock). What about DD makes him NEED to be blind. i dont think every1 that saw him in costume thought he was, otherwise murdock wuda been caught out YEARS ago.

well i havnt read cw3 yet so i dont know where he does it. but i think its iron fist, so um.. no real ID to hide anymore. he was just making sure DD was fighting the fight in hells kitchen while murdock was in prison, while trying to clear murdocks name by proving the blind lawyer cudnt possibly be DD. also how old did the guy look in cw3? clints quite old, danny's quite young...

Here are my first reveiws ever, Sorry if they suck.

52 #11: We get to see some fun interaction between the question and montoya, Also the introduction of Batwoman which may have not been a strong introduction but it's definetley not a weak one. All the while the freaky deaky Cult of Conner just gets freakier and deakier. It's decent issue overall.

Checkmate #4: I don't know if anyone but me is reading this, but everyone should. It's a good mix of Superhero,Spy and political intrigue.
We get to see The Great Ten action, showing off some impressive powers. (The Accomplished Perfect Physcian is awesome) The tension build between members of checkmate as their morals clash. Im loving the way each character is being portrayed here particularly Alan Scott.

Civil War #3: Let's first get this out of the way, Im not much of a Marvel fan. That said I'm enjoying Civil War quite a bit. I do however agree with fellow posters that it is somewhat predictable. I haven't really been "shocked" by anything that has happened so far, but it has been handled very good I'd take quality over shock value any day. The actionn is good and I also like that the anti-reg group have taken up a third identity. Spiderman is normally a dick, but seeing him being a dick to fellow heroes does seem out of character. It's like the pro-reg heroes for some reason forgot about the past and lost all respect for the anti-reg group. Which I think is pretty weak, you fight along side a guy for 15 years and then you have one disagreement and all that history is tossed out the window.

Eternals: This book kicks so much ass, I love scenes of the many failed murder attempts. The whole Sprite / America's Next Super Hero thing is great. Can't wait to see how this turns out, books like these are what keeps me from being just a DC fan.

Battle For Bludhaven #6: An alright ending to a less then great book, but atleast we know why Nightwing isn't in Bludhaven anymore.

Aquaman #43: The slowest issue of this arc yet but we do learn more of the new aquamans origin and his relationship with Orin.

Justice League Of America #0: STORY GOOD... MICHAEL TURNER BAD!!!

Shadowpact #3: The story may not be the best but it's a fun read. We've come to the conclussion of the blood barrier arc, so maybe thing will pick up.

Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters #1: Daniel Acuna art isn't bad by any means but I can see myself getting sick of it pretty fast. We learn the origins of a couple of members. I'm waiting for uncle sam to show up and kick Father Time's smug ass, Give him an old fashion all american ass whoopin' Uncle Sam Style. Oh and there is a really ugly ass black adam drawing in there.

Well that concludes my crappy reveiws.

Thor with SHIELD was a bit of a shock to me.For months everyone was saying he'd come back and help out Cap to even out the sides.Totally didn't happen.

Well at least we know what side Sentry will be on. Can't wait to see Thor vs Sentry.
