I need something to eat damnit!Anyways...

Dem spoilers a comin'!

Justice League of America #2-I loved the previous 2 issues.I wasn't expecting alot to happen in this one considering the pace. But,Meltzer got alot done in this one.We find out why villains have been disappearing and the reason for Tornado's abduction.Arsenal,Dinah, and Hal are already hot on the tracks of the villains only to be met with a surprise.Reddy goes to investigate his missing body, his new one looks to be giving him problems already.Vixen runs into some trouble and Lightning falls upon the next villain they're going after.Oh yea,Supes and WW have a secret vote on whether or note to include Bruce in the JLA,bastards!

We get some action here and there, some nice plot developments, some nice interaction, and the story continues to move. What more could you want?

Ultimates 2 #11 "The Avengers"-All out balls to the wall action here.Hitchy really outdid himself in this one.The spreads of Hulk smashing,Iron Man 6 owning and the other heroes in NYC were jaw dropping.Cap and Abdul's fight scene was brilliant.Quicksilver gets a badass moment saving Hawkeye's ass and Hulk completely owns Abomination while busting jokes. And just when Loki decides to start making moves, his brother shows up.

I just hope we get a bit more reaction from the team as to what the hell Hulk was doing there. He was believed dead after all.Iron Man wasted while operating Iron Man 6 was hilarious.

A monster on an issue with so much packed onto each page.I'm going to miss Millar's Ultimates alot. His smart Hulk is just as funny as savage Hulk.

oh yea and my store didn't have DD and Cap!angry was i

Wowee wow wow, Clark and Diana suck ass, way to show Bruce he can start trusting people again.

My comic store didn't have 52 or Shazam. :(

JLA was great and Ultimates was hella explosive. LOVED the ending.

52 doesnt love you.

Teen Titans # 39. - It was kinda boring. Well, not boring, but ya know. Nothing really major happened action wise or anything, just a lot of plot devices. It was pretty much a recap on what's happened since IC. Except the last panel. That was pretty badass.

Batman - #657 - Batmans 'new son' is all hardass and, essentially crazy. Though you can't really blame him. He grew up with the LoA for christ sakes. Tim gets owned hard though, which was kind of funny. With all the falls and stuff, you'de think that they'de be actually hurt a lot more, instead of just kinda taking two pannels to explain what happened, but eh. And those gloves the kid had were pretty awesome.

Snakes on a Plan #2 - The changed the "Enough is enough, I've had it with these mother****ing snakes, on this mother****ing plane" to "That's enough, I've had it with these mother****ing snakes". So essentially, theres NO reason to buy this.

52 #21 - I kinda like how Lex is enforcing the whole "You work as a team or you die" thing. Other than that it was a medium issue. Sorta slow plotwise other than the "Infinity Inc" portion, but that's because about 90% of it was devoted to the Infinity Inc arc. Good overall though.

Cable/Deadpool #32 - Cable proves he's a badass, again. He duct tapes Wade up, again. Wade threatens to kill Cable, again. Cable basically tells Wade that he's going to switch sides, or he's going to kick his ass. Not to many funny parts that wern't in the previews, but it's still good.

ASM - #535 - Peter flips out about the whole prision thing, Reed explains why he's with the pro-reg (and it's actually a good reason), Peter switches sides, and Tony flips out on him busting through his own tower to get to him. FIghting starts and the comic ends. It's literally the best ASM I've read in a long, long time. The characterizations are pretty much spot on which is a plus.

USM #100 - Gwen is apparntally Carnage, Nick Fury's pissed, Peters dad is still alive, Aunt May has a heart attack or is about to, and the 'Peter with lepericy' beats the 'Peter with 6 arms and a black suit' to hell. Oh, and something happened to MJ. Then theres like 10 pages of sketches and stuff, and a complete recap with what happened in the whole series which was a nice touch.

Still to come;
Action 843
Bluebeetle 7
JLA 2
Trials of Shazam 2

Damn, it was a big week this week.

I'm completely floored that anyone could think that was a good reason to be pro-registration. Including the Evil Reed Clone. And the writers. And you.

It's a very, very compelling reason to be anti-reg, though. Which means Reed 2.0 is a bigger idiot than I thought.

Man this week is huge for me, like 20 books.

But I agreed to go with a friend of mine on saturdays now. He has a pull list too. But now I just wait till Saturdays.:(

Hey there is going to be Ultimates 2 #13 right? Or was this the ending?

Yeah my shop is infamous for getting "shorted".

Last week I didn't even get my nextwave, the dude there was cool and gave me his.

:(

Captain America #22 - aka Sharon Carter, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Since Cap has been so heavily featured these last several months, there's no real need for his own title to spotlight his decisions yet again. Instead, this issue focusses on just about the only member of Cap's supporting cast who isn't a superhero with his/her own title (well, the Winter Soldier makes it two, now). Sharon is Pro-SHRA (aside from Captain America and the Falcon, she never had much use for superheros anyway), but she's also deeply in love with Captain America, which is obviously a problem. Brubaker is a master at using cinematic storytelling devices in comics, so this whole issue is framed with Sharon visiting a SHIELD psychologist; basically, Director Hill wants Sharon to use her relationship with Cap to trap him, which she agrees to do. She and Cap make contact, at which point they 1) have sex 2) discuss the SHRA (probably not at the same time); Cap refuses to change his mind, but it turns out that Sharon gave her SHIELD team the wrong address, so she lets him get away. The psychologist tells her to come back in a few days, and then heads off to meet with the Red Skull, whereupon we learn that the psychologist is actually Doctor Faustus in disguise, and they have various nasty things planned for Sharon and Captain America. A good spotlight issue for Agent 13, and it's good to see Red Skull is taking every advantage of the Civil War. 9/10.

Civil War: Front Line #6

We get some good stuff on all four major stories this week. Most notably, Namor seems to be assembling an army of Atlantean sleeper agents, and an assassin shoots Speedball on his way to speak before Congress. Mister Fantastic gets a fairly sympathetic scene, although, given later events, I'm sure many fans will assume he set the whole thing up for some reason. Ben Urich, meanwhile, confronts Iron Man about the Green Goblin, only to see Iron Man backpedal and leave in a huff; Urich knows he's got his man. Another worthwhile supplement to the main title.

Daredevil #89

After hanging out in prison for a good long while, Matt is having a nice time sleeping in a suite at Monte Carlo and kicking ass at high stakes poker games (which made me think of the upcoming Casino Royale film). Very noirish, and heavy on voiceovers, since Matt really has noone else to talk to. We also get a peak at the mastermind behind this whole game, in the classic Mysterious Stranger pose of sitting in a high-backed chair facing a fireplace (maybe it's Lord Voldemort). A good issue, but I'm not sure what to rate it yet. It isn't especially eventful, but it drops some very interesting hints about what's going on.

Coming Soon: Justice, Vol. 1.

At least you didn't spend 3$ on the comic just for that panel so you could cut it out and put it on your wall next to all your other various SOAP stuff. :cmad: :cmad:

I thought he said, "THATS IT!"

I had two classes cancelled today, so I went to Barnes and Noble and got Y: The Last Man Vol. 1 and Pride of Baghdad.

I just finished Pride and it is truly wonderful. It is open to interpretation, and the art is perfect for it. Only BKV can work lion rape into a story and do it tastefully.

Did you get the Shaw Report in EW that one week?

IN - Snakes on a Plane
OUT - Snakes on a Plane
5 MINUTES AGO - Snakes on a Plane.

Yea,Ultimates has one more to go.

I was actually talking to my brother about that yesterday, saying that how about two weeks after it came out it dropped off the radar completely.

surely someone must have got young avengers and runaways...I need spoilers :csad: :csad:

USM #100 - The story is interesting so far. Waiting to see where it leads, still unsure about whether or not to believe anyone is who they say they are besides Pete and MJ. Until proven otherwise May and Richard are clones, they could possibly be Carnage's too.

Ultimates 2 #12 - Great issue! Balls to the wall action, only problem is it's been so long since that last issue I forgot some stuff, like when did Nick Fury lose an arm or was that just an art mistake? The countdown is on for Thor vs. Loki, maybe we'll get the ending of the story by Christmas (fingers crossed).
