Once Ragnarok is done it’ll be 4 of the top 8 films as CBMs with JL not looking likely to join that group.

Who'd of thunk a decade ago we'd live in a world where a Justice League movie gets trounced at the box office by the likes of Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy?

Especially Guardians lol. A comic property that even many comic readers had never heard of.

Especially since there's one movie we *know* will get added to the top 10 ( Star Wars ), and another that has a decent chance ( Coco ).

It's going to be difficult as It will drop off and Ragnarok will have made more. Who knows how big Coco can be too and yes TLJ goes without saying.

From early number of Mexico and China Coco can pass PotC to be No. 10 movie of this year (if we take into account the whole box office gross, not the part made in calendar year 2017). China's number is locked to be at least 150M, Mexico 50M, Japan can bring in 50M next March because of 1) musical, 2) fantasy world 3) stunning visual, domestic 250M (conservative number). That's already 250 + 150 + 50 + 50 = 500M. In the other markets Moana made 304M last year so if Coco can make the same number that will be a >800M worldwide gross.

Looks like any hope that Justice League could crawl into the top 10 list is doomed.

Wolf Warrior 2's results have been very impressive. If China keeps expanding even more they might start making Billion dollar blockbusters.

Definitely. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much business Wolf Warrior 2 did & I had that exact same thought when I saw the numbers. They expand just a little bit more & they'll be touching down in that billion dollar territory. Only a matter of time at this point.

This is great news for robots all over the world.

It is definitely the winner of the year. For the budget it was and movie type being a horror film it’s done the best. Congrats to the team behind it. And of course Disney wins overall lol.
