The irony is noted but Marvel may need to start looking into the DC approach.
Get a separate thing going from these connected universes and phases. It seems that, post Endgame, they've been struggling to keep the interest up for more crazy phases and universe ending threats. (For you it was another horrible alien trying to destroy reality, for me it was Tuesday)
It's getting silly. There is STILL a ln unaddressed Celestial sticking out of the Earth by the way.
I think the audience at this point just shrugs this whole connectivity off. The novelty is gone.
Meanwhile, don't be surprised when Elseworlds Joker 2 does another billion easy.
Spiderverse 2 will do good numbers, The Batman 2 will to so it's not just superhero fatigue here, it's something more.
For instance, I think it's a terrible idea to connect X-Men to the MCU, why not have that be it's own thing instead?
I think people are just over this flipping out because character Y showed up in character Z's movie.
I think that would be a terrible idea, as connecting the X-Men to a more comic booky universe would allow for more stories and different X-Men movies then what we've already gotten.
