No it wasn't the finale it was just when they graduted from high school.... thts also the episode when cory and shawn to the senior prnk and let chickens loose in the hall way and Cory is excited about the chickens lol quite an hilarious episode.

Ye I watch this every morning before work.... which is also bad cuz I start work at 8 and sometimes I don't want to leave lol id rather stay and watch my favorite sitcom of all time

David hasselhoff? he was in the old incdabile hulkshow. attuly will freeled did the voice on batman beyond. he played eric cory brother. did you know that fred savage is ben savag brother in real lfe? if you don't know who fredsagae is he played keiven on the wonder years.

I must confess here that I greatly prefer Eric as the atypical older brother in the first few seasons to the complete doofus he became later. For many reasons in fact.

1. Shawn was already the doofus and played the role brilliantly. Then it was like he and Eric just switched personalities in the middle of the series, with Shawn becoming this thoughtful, tormented soul.

2. There was no reason given for Eric's transformation. I dunno, he was a failure after high school? That's kind of weak. Most people would react to failure in life by becoming insular and depressed. A much better reason could have been devised, like head trauma. Preferably caused by a Harley Kiner beating.

3. It was too much. He became what I would imagine a live action Animaniac would be like.

4. The serious older brother that you look up to, envy, and fight with was pretty important to the formula of the show.

Love BMW but it really really jumped the shark once Cory and Shawn got to high school. I guess once the producers went for an out and out comedy show that there was no need for the more serious Eric.

Oh well, Topanga was hot.
