When Brryan Jackson was a baby, his father injected him with HIV-tainted blood, hoping to kill him. Brryan was expected to die from AIDS during childhood. No longer shielded from the public, Brryan is graduating from high school this weekend.

Seriously, their should be some sort of test you have to take before you can become a parent, this is the most disgusting vile thing I've ever heard of a parent doing to their child, I mean sure, we hear about children being murdered by their parents all the time. You can forgive someone for yourself and only yourself. Harboring hate can eat away at you more than your abuser so forgiving them is hard but it is better than self pitty. No one deserves to die! That's kind of a *****e bag thing to say.

By the way, to those of you wondering why he wasn't sentenced to death, the state of Missouri has a series of rules that says judges can only sentence felons to death if the act of murder meets one of several conditions. It involves stuff like killing multiple people, killing cops and lawyers, torturing before the murder, getting paid to do it, paying someone else to, or killing while you're still in custody. There are a few others. Intentionally giving your baby a deadly disease doesn't qualify for any more than a life sentence, it looks like.

Now, as to why the other inmates haven't killed him, I don't know. I imagine he's gotten the living snot beaten out of him a few times, though. Inmates who can't be with their own kids don't take kindly to people who hurt children.

Doesn't it also involve actually... Killing someone, which his father hasn't done yet. This should still be considered grand assault - attempted murder until the boy actually dies. Then it's murder.

Of course double jeopardy laws would prevent him from being tired again. I guess this is why he chose HIV over baseball bat to the head.

the boy on the other hand, doesn't deserve death but honestly, for someone who had his own father inject him with HIV with all intentions on killing him he sure is a freaking SAINT to forgive him for it. I can't wrap my head around it, that's for sure

Folks, "anger" is like the second stage. I wouldn't be surprised if he was a very angry child all the time, but finally mellowed out and grew to accept it by the time he reached 18. He's had literally his entire life to think about what his father did, and apparently he chose to forgive him. I don't think there's anyone here who can imagine how he feels. I'm disgusted at what his father did too, but I'm not this Brryan kid, and I'm not going to criticize him for forgiving his dad. Some of you are being angry at the wrong person.

It's probably the text editor I use at work. I copy all of my posts because they so often don't go through and I don't like to retype them. Sometimes that text editing software that I paste a post into removes all of the formatting (including capitalization, which is bunk if you ask me). Anyway I usually don't fix quoted stuff because so few people today take the time to actually capitalize or use somewhat proper grammar or punctuation.
