Cop handcuffs teen over sex with daughter

It's not a dissmissal it's a fact that until any of us are an actual parent we cannot know the emotions that a parent goes through when they feel their child is in danger.

Also no one is saying the girl is angelic or innocent but she is the younger of the two and as Matt said the pressure on girls to put out is much higher.

Pressure from whom? Society? Screw them. They don't have to know anything. I doubt random strangers will care. If it's my girl's boyfriend or her own friends then she is hanging out with the wrong crowd

My question is, what normal dude would actually agree with the cop? We were all 15, and supposedly we'd be patting the kid on the back for getting some. But I guess as we get older, our mindset changes.

In your opinion, Maybe she was pressured into agreeing and felt the need to keep the older boy happy? and people have already said that she needed a good talking to as well.

Did I miss something in the story? Did this girl say she was raped? Did she say she was pressured? I'm pretty sure all she said was that it was consentual.

It is a ridiculous double standard to not place equal blame on both of these teenagers.

You are probably much older than me therefore I have no right to give you advice. But try and talk to your kids about sex, teach them to be responsible, be like John Travolta in FACE-OFF where he gives his daughter a wavy dagger to fight off forceful boys. One of the biggest problems in my own country is that people are either to conservative or shy to talk about sex. I am not kidding.

If you have a son. Tell him that thing in his pants is super special magical object and he can only share it with that super special someone. How will he know who it will be? Don't worry, daddy will make sure you are already engaged by that point

Or I can just go the Robin Hood route:

:woot:

A responsible and mature dude would agree with the cop. Even then they would agree the cop went too far. As for the boy, "Gold Star for getting laid but Epic Fail for getting discovered and not being able to control your trouser snake"

That group mentality will get you every time in those cases though.

2) Boys sexually mature faster than girls. And there is a lot more pressure on girls to give it up then there is on boys. Society has a double standard that puts females in the more vulnerable of the two positions.

Where are you getting your information from? Girls start puberty as early as 9 and stop at 16 or 17, while boys start puberty at least at 11 and stop at 18 or 19.

How often does that happen though? peer pressure is a very real danger, and it's seemingly getting worse.

Do as I say not as I do, why do you think fathers are so wary of teenage boys?

There are very few details, I mean we don't know what went on in the actual act.

Get used to it man, that is life, it happens all the time and more times than not it is exactly what it appears to be and if it's your daughter you aren't gonna really see it as anything but illegal and your daughter being led astray.

That said, I've got a plan. Until my daughter is 30, I am going to home school her and keep all contact with the outside world entirely limited so she thinks that the vagina's only purpose is urination and that human beings reproduce like fish, by laying eggs and then the guys come along and pollinate them. There's no way this plan can fail. :woot:

LOL! That sounds a lot like my plan for my daughter. But she will also be taught martial arts, weapon skills and tactics to the highest level....just in case!

If I ever found out that my daughter was having sex at 14 or 15 years old, I would be looking in the mirror asking myself what I did wrong in raising her.

Brilliant. Do that and you get an achievement. FATHER OF THE YEAR (100G)

I'm not talking about puberty. I am talking about emotionally and psychologically. Men mature faster on a sexual level in that regard.

"Demographics." "Most." And "apparently." Make me want to gag.

You've missed his entire point and cast evil spells upon it's meaning.

No...YOU missed the entire point of my post. I used those words repeatedly in that post, because someone jumped on a previous post I made, where because I didn't use words like MOST and APPARENTLY, he took it as I absolutely meant that absolutely everyone was who I was referring to...when to most people it was apparent that I was referring to most people not all people...but some people can't pass up a chance to challenge another poster's post because he didn't use most or apparently or many other variations of words meaning some but not all but that most but not all posters don't always post in thier original post.

S.W.A.T Nuns!

you didn't raise her, her parents are Madonna and Axl Rose.

I suppose it will go back to the double standard, cliche as it may be. Your son gets some at a young age, you may outwardly scold him, but inside you're thinking "not too shabby." Vice versa with the daughter though. The stigma is there, but that's what it will always boil down to.

 Make her into a female Liam Neeson!

Bull ****. I hate to sound so blunt, but honestly, its a load of **** and proves exactly what Hunter is saying. When you actually have a kid, feel that protective urge, get mad at the floor because she fell onto it and bumped her head, you'll understand that your rational way of looking at it right now will be nonexisitant. Until then, it is easy to play Monday morning quarterback so to speak, but unless you're Ghandi, it just won't work like that.

I personally believe that peer pressure is B.S.

I think it's very real, some kids can deal with it and remain true to who they are and others can't, those with less confidence who are looking to be accepted will more often than not succumb.

But why continue to push the double standard, you know? (Which some here seem perfectly fine to do.)

Why is the double standard of a guy who beds a load of girls is a playa/stud and a girl that beds loads of guys is a ****/****e still so prevalent? it's because these things are simply ingrained in the differences between men and women.

S.W.A.T Nuns!
.

Yeah buddy! LOL

It's also a very, very bad excuse.

Which is pretty much what I meant.

 Make her into a female Liam Neeson!

Screw Liam Neeson. Taken sucked (sort of). She will be the next Salt. :oldrazz:

See above. In my opinion, it is a VERY weak excuse for bad behavior.
