Comics Brace Thyselves.

I love the "Q" idea!

He could fly around on a hovering pizza box (this would settle the Joe Q "Pizza controversy"), and he could use continuity bombs! THey are a slight variation on the "Retcon bombs" used by the Hobgoblin from the future, except these insert false history into Spider-Man's life and causes everyone to behave out of character! Spider-Man himself could become weak-minded and indecisive when around the "Q", so he calls in help from Reed Richards, who is acting out of character himself, and, together they banish him to a parallel dimension which has sprung up due to all his tampering with time. Here....all his creations from the wreckless use of his "Continuity Bombs" haunt him and torment him for all eternity....and among the torment, he meets another who will eventually aide him in his escape from the horrible realm...
JoMuS....the Time-Unraveller!!!

To be continued!!:wow:
ROFL! This is hysterical! :woot:

In the new FNSM He's living on his own, no mention of what happened to MJ or May. He's homeless and has to live with Flash. He's a hunted fugitive (as we knew he would be) but if someone died like MJ or May, he's taking it VERY well. I think they go into hiding or ditch him.

We love redundancy!!

Kill MJ off again...will sell like hotcakes again!

Bring her back and have them date again...will sell like hotcakes again!

Another wedding issue of MJ and Pete...again, it will sell like hotcakes!

This is fun stuff guys!! Stop complaining! :cwink:

Recycling keeps the environment happy and it should keep us happy too.

Peter marrying Aunt May....will sell like hotcakes...or more appropriately...WHEATCAKES!

Solicit for Sensational #35 as Marvel Describes it:
"'The Strange Case of...' part 1 of 3. The War has ended, but the fallout continues. As Spider-Man and his family get used to the new status quo...other Spider-Men begin appearing all over the city. Younger, less-experienced versions of our web-spinning hero, causing havoc wherever they go. Who's creating these arachnid dopplegangers and why? And will Peter Parker be able to stop them, and whoever's behind them, before more lives are lost? Including the life of one of his star students?"

Notice they say Spider-Man and his FAMILY get used to the status quo. We know ASM takes place as Peter etc go off on the final assault of Civil War. So unless he pops back during the assault and has a bunch of unrelated adventures to have the new Spider-Men popping up, help Sandman etc; then it sounds like all three Parkers are intact and well after the next issue of Amazing.

I love how everyone just instantly assumed that someone was going to die, when the solicits never made such a claim.

And they got mad at the fact that someone was going to die.

And now people are upset at the fact that the solicits indicate that no one is going to die...

:whatever: :whatever: :whatever:

Forget the solicits. The way the story was going and the way the writers were speaking about the story basically put out the idea that someone might have bit the bullet. no one knew for sure. People even suggested that no one would die at all.

Even the blacked out Cover suggests death. As well as one of the covers to a new Spidey book with him being on an ambulance.

Very suggestive stuff.

I think that was really the point to begin with...to be suggestive. I'm pretty sure that Quesada knows that many, many comic book fans want to see him die, and that's pretty horrible when you really think about it. Why not have some fun with these fans? God knows that if I were in his position I'd want to mess with the fans' heads as much as possible. Especially those fans who have no idea who he is, other than he's editor in chief of Marvel Comics, and put the guy down because he didn't make a popular decision about their favorite fictional character.

Indeed. :o
