Only if it’s a comedy. Which I wouldn’t be opposed to. Powell is such a stereotypical boring white guy lead that I immediately tune out of him in any serious roles, just a completely uninteresting actor in that capacity. But he is funny.

Isn't a big part of the point of a Batman with Superman, is a general contrast in their personalities? Like Bats should have an edge.

Powell seems better for a Booster Gold or Oliver Queen. Otherwise, his best, maybe his only, attributes as a lead are wasted on Batman.

I'm still high off 28 Years Later, so I'm suggesting Alfie Williams for Damian now.

But his Spike character was a sweetheart, I can't see myself rolling my eyes at him. But he's my pick.

Dude was spectacular, but won't be Damien aged by the time cameras roll. Tim Drake, if he's in the movie?

Anyway , James Gunn has already said that he's not interested in campy Batman. And I'm thankful for that. I'd really like DCU Batman to hit some DCAU notes, among the really cool, comic booky stuff from the post crisis era and then the Morrison run.

Honestly, I’ve given up hope of anyone older than Pattinson being cast, so I’m gonna throw some candidates out there.

Alfie is, to my knowledge, 100% white so he's not right for Damian, and I don't have much hope for DCU Batman right now anyways so he's my Reevesverse Dick Grayson fancast if he does indeed exist here.

Was going to say William H Macy for Gordon but he’s 75. Would love to see him in the Batman world though maybe as Ventriloquist.

Macy wouldn’t be a bad Gordon, but part of me wants them to go especially DCAU with it. The Animated Series Gordon looked almost like a goddamn superhero in his own right.

I mean look at that jawline…



Give us hunky Gordon for the women over 50. They’ve earned it.
