This thing is getting insanely good reviews across the board, I may have to suck it up and see what the deal is. I know most of Apatow's stuff is a good, but hey.

Ive wanted to see it since the first trailer. But Im probably going to just wait for DVD.

Kristen Wiig is one of the funniest comedians right now I think and Im glad she is getting leading roles. And it will be fun to see like a female fratpack type of comedy.

I personally don't see the appeal of Kristen Wiig at all. She was pretty good in Whip It, but in everything else I've seen her in, she just comes off awkward and has that "Did someone fart?" look on her face the entire time. I'm kind of shocked that this movie is getting such great reviews... it looks terrible to me.

But then, I hate pretty much everything to do with weddings, so I'm probably biased.

mellisa mccarthy is the reason why I'm down with this movie

the third chick from the left would be the reason i'd want to see the movie.

I might sit through it for Rose Byrne and Jon Hamm.

Still, in Hamm's case, it irks me that despite being a great actor, he is relegated to crappy bit parts like he clearly has here while Hollywood hands roles to hacks like Sam Worthington and Channing Tatum (the latter of which is actually having a movie made ABOUT him now... somebody shoot me).

I've heard that they cast the guy who was in I Am Number Four for the role of Channing Tatum.

Yep.

A movie where the next Channing Tatum plays Channing Tatum while he gets mentored by a guy being played by Channing Tatum.

F**k you, Steven Soderberg.

Yeah its a shame all the great parts are given Sam Worthington and Channing Tatum.

Ehh what?

I'm still hoping that Hamm will be Lex.

The only part that looked good in the trailer was the little nerdy kid eating "The Pill".

I can't decide if I'll go to see this, it does look amusing though.

Way better than I thought it would be, number 2 movie of the year, so far, for me.

Wow, really? So the hype is justified?

However, if your #1 movie of the year is PRIEST, then I don't think you're a trustworthy source... :D

At first I was going to question the existence of a thread for a movie that looks like a chick flick on a forum full of comic-book nerds, but I digress. Rose Byrne! I'd watch just about any movie if it has her in it... :awesome:

[BLACKOUT]And the entire scene leading up to that joke, and the joke itself isn't even in the movie!!!![/BLACKOUT]

Just got back (actually I came to work from the theater) from seeing it, and it is rather hilarious. Yeah, Wiig's character is borderline irredeemable, but you still kind of feel for her a bit.

But yeah, loved the whole cast, the dressing fitting after they ate at the Brazilian restaurant was great, just the way it all played out was so fantastic and pitiful. [BLACKOUT]The look on Maya Rudolph's face, realizing that she's taking a dump in French bridal gown . . . . on a public street, is just priceless! [/BLACKOUT]

I didn't realize the scene on the plane would last so long.

I've Soderberg's meant to be retiring with ideas like that I kind of wish he would.

This movie was hilarious! I fully recommend this movie.

The plane scene with US Marshall and the fact that Wiig's character was on E the whole time was classic.

The scene where Rudolph's character takes a dump in the street (the scenes leading up to that) was hilarious.

8/10

This looks really funny, shame I have to wait until next weekend.

Also, the ending where Megan mentiones that she stucka gun in Dougie's carry-on and getting in trouble with the TSA was one of the funniest parts too.

Just got home from seeing it a while ago myself, freakin' hilarious! Looooooved it! My theater was so damn packed I had to sit all the way in the second row, but eh. I didn't mind.

& yeah Wayne, those two scenes...:lmao: Gold.

guys this is definitely a movie to take the women too. It is hilarious.

saw it today...this one is a 10 out of 10! I can confidently say this is one of the funniest movies of the year and quite possibly the decade.

Melissa Mcarthy deserves a best supporting actress nomination...its seriously a break out role. Kristin Wig carries the movie...she also wrote it! Hamm was friggin' hysterical and Rose Byrne...god do i have a crush on her...more now than ever. honestly, she's the "villain" in the movie, but this could have been sooo over played and animated and yet she played it straight and it works....instant classic comedy.

Every actor/actress, every small part was funny. I haven't laughed this hard in a long time....and it takes a lot. Do not miss this one...especially with a packed audience.

My only complaint would be that they didn't use Wendy mclendon from reno 911 enough...everything she said was gold.

So i think it's safe to say i seriously underestimated this movie...it's gonna open soft...and originally i thought it might reach just barely 100m but i think this is one that's gonna have word of mouth and continue to do well.

"Semen . . . EVERYWHERE. I tried to fold a blanket from their bed once, it snapped in half!" :woot:
