Transformers brief sexual humor, and language.

Again..with..the..violence. Please, show me children who have giant robots.

Harry Potter. Unless I missed the part where Harry started slapping girls on the ass and calling them hos.
Harry Potter? Are you serious? With the females fawning over him? With Hermonie or whatever her name "growing" into a woman and gaining a crush? Wtf?

And a movie like Shrek....oh god..SHREK is worse than the Transformers and they have HAPPY MEALS. You wanna talk about adult sub-context in a movie and that movie being geared towards kids then speak of Shrek. Not Transformers.

How is Harry Potter aimed toward everybody? So you're telling me that HP is aimed toward the average American guy who works hard and wants to come home to a cold beer, comfortable recliner and watch a kickass action flick to put them in a good mood? Harry Potter movies are aimed toward Harry Potter fans and children. Next?

Because the content is for all ages. The guy who the cold beer would be better served watching an R rated movie with the whole deal. Next?

-- Why didn't Hasbro stop them putting in the crude content? Money. I'm not talking about strictly the movie, but the merchandise it's pulling in.

The movie's PG-13 is the US? Damn. Out here (Netherlands) it's suitable for all ages. That's a big difference. We got 6, 12 and 16 ratings out here. Should've a least been a 6 rating. But hey, I'm not complaining, I'm way past those ages.

You...are...stupid...and...dense.

I'm done arguing with a child. Have fun with your inability to understand.

Mmm..the truth is you can't come up with a single argument. Bye bye.

Ok I see where this is going. You're too ignorant to see your own face in a mirror and say it's you.

Seriously. Grow up. Really. You have issues.

So violence is okay as long as it is not Human on Human?

UUUUURGHHHHHHHHHH.

Harry Potter? Are you serious? With the females fawning over him? With Hermonie or whatever her name "growing" into a woman and gaining a crush? Wtf?

Hey, the characters are growing up, but it's not like they're saying "Hey, is that your wand in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?".

****ING HILARIOUS. If you found this movie funny, then chances are you're the one that needs to grow up because you're very very immature.

It got a "11" rating here in norway. That basically means all children under 11 can see it if an adult is with them.

But then again, we norwegians don't give a crap about sexual humor, most 6-7 years old knows all about that stuff anyway, they pick it up on school from older kids.

We look upon USA ratings to be kinda stupid since showing sexual humor is an abomination in kids movie, but showing people getting beaten the crap out of and killed is ok. Only in the US of A :P

Is it some kind of religious madness? Something telles me most american kids 7-8 years and older know what sex is. Relax, your kid won't end up as a freak for knowing what "*********e" means. But he will get a little less ignorant :)

I think people should worry more about the violence and not waste time on harmless jokes as those presented in Transformers. Seriously, we are not talking American Pie here.

I'm not religious in the least. I just don't understand why something that should be enjoyed by everyone needs to be teenizied (new word).

guys, i'm 15 years old, and even though i'm not seeing this AWESOME movie till tomorrow, i don't see what the big FUSS is all about! it's not JUST 4 TF fans, it's for NON-TF Fans, Action-Movie Hounds, Mike Bay lovers, a movie for TEENAGERS AND OLDER and many OTHER things. THAT'S why i'm psyched to see this movie! get my drift?

UUUUURGHHHHHHHHHH.

I don't get it.....the characters Sam and Mikaela are in High School. It says in the movie he is a Junior, take the line where he says "I was wondering if I could ride you home, err give you a ride home?" So you think kids in high school are going to be all innocent and cheesy like Leave it to Beaver?? I said it a few posts back, the sexual humour for the teen and older crowd will go over the heads of kids who still play on McDonalds playgrounds and toys.

A few of the Points I wanted to make have already been made, so I'll just add a lil more to them.

It was PG-13 - by definition that rating states that the movie is NOT suitable for anyone under the age of 13, and parents are advised of this.

Transformers came out in the 1980's ... when I was a kid. I'm going on 30 now; Which means, this is NOT a movie marketed to children. This movie is marketed to the 30 year olds who Watched the Cartoon as a Kid.

The movie is NOT for kids! I mean they can watch it, and be entertained by the robots doing cool ****. But, that's up to a parent to decide ... which is why they rated it PG-13.

The logic here, is to put the responsibility on the Parent to check the film out before allowing their kid to watch it. Nowadays, parents are so irresponsible, people are so irresponsible. Parents (I'm assuming terminator did this) take their kids who are under 13 to a PG-13 movie, and find themselves having to explain things like *********ion after the movie is over. Well, tough **** - you brought a child into the world - they were gonna find out what *********ion was sooner or later, and they were gonna end up asking YOU or someone ELSE about it.

That's life... You've had sex right? Isn't that how you brought your child into the world to begin with? Well, I hate to break it to you but, your child is going to have Sex one of these days too.

That's what us people do man.. we have sex. We do sexual things - it's part of Humanity; Part of being a Sentient Being...

Anyways, next time a film Warns you about 'brief sexual humor' take heed and don't take your 7 year old along with you, unless you've already Checked the film out and feel it's ok for them to see.

You definetly get it! From the sound of your opinion, your going to love the movie. Have fun!:yay:

So it's unreasonable to think that high school kids could be a little more mature? There all dumb jocks and nerds who aren't really nerds and everyone is obsessed completely with sex?

Couldn't have said it better myself! *Claps hands*

In Terminators defense though, he said he didn't take any kids to the film. But on that note, why is he freaking out over it??

UUUUURGHHHHHHHHHH.

Hey, the characters are growing up, but it's not like they're saying "Hey, is that your wand in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?".
I guess you haven't seen the movies nor read the books where *********ion is metaphorically written. Kids around the world read those books mind you.

I'm glad it's in there. There is nothing wrong with sexual humor in a family movie. And it's quite logic (probably the only logical thing in the movie).

Just weird that one reacts to that harmless humor, but one is not bothered by the violence. In Spider-Man the Green Goblin got penetrated through the gut. Thats family movie to some, but having a little humor about sex is not?

Where is the logic in that?
There is none. It's the highly odd 'values' of this country at work. I agree with you, it is harmless and how did you whiners expect them to act? Lighten up.

So it's unreasonable to think that high school kids could be a little more mature? There all dumb jocks and nerds who aren't really nerds and everyone is obsessed completely with sex?
As someone who's only a few years out of high school, therefore it's still fresh in my mind: YES! The stereotypes about high school are mostly true, whether you like it or not. Maybe a bit exaggerated for dramatic or comedic effect, but that's how everything is in movie-land.

You definetly get it! From the sound of your opinion, your going to love the movie. Have fun!:yay:

I don't think he does. In fact, he already loves the movie and he hasn't even seen it.

****ING HILARIOUS. If you found this movie funny, then chances are you're the one that needs to grow up because you're very very immature.
Actually I despise the movie. But that doesn't mean what you're stating holds any weight. You're being ignorant.

I'm not freaking out at all, in fact I'm quite calm. It's the defenders who are attacking me for God knows what. Caring?

this planet is going to explode soon and i will be glad i wont have to raise my kids in it...

"oh the sex is okay but the violence is what we have a problem with"

some of you people are smoking a whole new brand of crack.
