Transformers brief sexual humor, and language.

I don't think he does. In fact, he already loves the movie and he hasn't even seen it.
Actually he DOES get it. He's saying "Who cares if theres sexual humor in it" he is a TEENAGER. He is one of those KIDS that you were so worried about saying "Whats the big deal". Stop being IGNORANT.

I could have sworn I don't care about how teenagers reacted. Look it up.

So it's unreasonable to think that high school kids could be a little more mature? There all dumb jocks and nerds who aren't really nerds and everyone is obsessed completely with sex?

It's not unreasonable at all. Listen it's not just jocks and whatnot obsessed with sex and the only types to find those kind of jokes funny.

One thing I've learned from life is its usually the nerds or people that are picked on that grow bitter in life and rip on people who find humour in those things. Maybe because of good old fashioned human nature leadin you to hate through Jealousy. Why do most people find them funny, maybe because they can relate cause they are sexually active. Don't get me wrong, im not saying the thing about nerds directly at you. It was from my own experience, I was bitter like that way back in Middle School. Learned to be better than that and enjoy life when I got to High School.

That's what I hate, people thinking someone is dumb because they enjoy life and can laugh at humour even if it is crude or sexual.

I'm not freaking out at all, in fact I'm quite calm. It's the defenders who are attacking me for God knows what. Caring?
Caring about what? Keeping your children desensitized and un-knowledged of sexual activity in the world and how high schoolers act in the real world? Pardon me. I guess Canada is full of censorship acceptance these days. Go watch Martha Stewart and bake a cake that isn't pink or white. Cus we all know what the color pink "suggests" right? :whatever:

Like me, maybe he has been watching movies all his life and can tell from just a trailer if its his type of movie. I can do that all the time.

No, it want all these things that I grew up with to be open to future generations without alienating them to appeal to the teenie bopping morons.

I'd agree, but then I saw the movie.

If you want a family movie, go watch Ratatouille. Leave Transformers tot he big kids.

So teens are morons. Interesting. Seems you hold a grudge against the younger future generations.

You're stating that younger audiences were alienated because of brief moments of sexual sub context and that the entire movie would not be for them as well. *nods*

Yep. Ignorant.

Grow up.

So perhaps "freaking out" isn't the correct word to describe what you are doing.... Why are you "Making a Big Deal" ...?

How's that?

I honestly feel at this point you're so in the hole on your opinion that you've been forced to try and defend it, even if it really does not make any sense.

As Dotten pointed out, Clearly this is ONLY an American problem (I'm from California) - only WE have as big of a problem with Sex; People line up in droves to watch Quentin Tarintino Blood Fest movies, or Eli Roth's torture films which are beyond gross - but have to sneak in a viewing of a porno

Watching people make love is considered sick.

Watching people kill each other is considered, entertainment?

To make such a big deal over the sexual humor (which you were warned about) is silly. And in my opinion, I think you should just learn something from this discussion, and stop defending your point.

Why?

Your point is not logical.

You're not considering anything about 13 year old kids - when I was 13, I was trying to **** other 13 year olds. when I was 12, some of my friends were trying to **** the other 12 year old girls in our 8th grade class - when I was 11, some kids were trying to teach me about *********ion and finger banging.

I mean... that was back in the 80's.

Kids nowadays are exposed to sex - it's in all the music, on all the tv shows - i mean, just stop it man...

You put out an opinion, which was shot down thoroughly - your points don't hold up - Give it up man, you've failed to convince anybody that the sexual humor was inappropriate in this film.

Hell, if anything it kept the mood light, while we were waiting for the plot to unfold, and for the Ridiculously Amazing Battle Scene towards the end of the film.

Once again...you don't have to be a teenie bopping moron to enjoy life and find humour in something. You seriously need to lighten up. Look, I'm against how more porn starlets are coming into the mainstream. I think it should be kept underground, I do believe the fact that too much sex and violence desensitises young kids and literaly in the long run can screw up society through lack of morals. I've said it once I'll say it again, the humour wasn't that bad or filthy. It will go over the McDonalds toy playing age group heads, the rest are teens and adults.

More trolling.

I didn't say teens are morons.

Hey anyway you guys can stop posting so much so I can maybe reply to everyone? I'm without an army.

Ok, post away. Just to let you know I love arguments and debates and am not holding any feelings of hate towards you. Sometimes it can feel like a lot of people take things way too serious on the boards with arguments.

Why is this in this movie? Not to sound like a concerned parent or something, but soooooo much of this movie is marketed to children. It doesn't fit at all. Besides the writing it's another thing that keeps this from series like Pirates, Spider-Man, and Harry Potter. Instead of an epic family movie, it feels like it's made for brain dead teens.

I agree. This was the only issue I had with the movie. A lot of unnecessary humor that doesn't fit in this kind of movie. Transformers deserves more than that. Don't get me wrong. I like humor in a movie like Ratchets line for instance. That was good. But the whole *********ing line, little b***, sh*** just didn't do it for me. Again this is my opinion. Other than that I thought the movie was awesome. Optimus was great. Peter Cullen is the man!

I KNEW there was someone else out there! You're absolutely right, it's not just a family issue, it just doesn't fit.

Terminator...don't you think there's a reason why you are the only one arguing against EVERYBODY???

That's funny because that's EXACTLY what you've been doing.
You're saying I'm trolling when I'm bringing up valid points, those of which you've avoided? Interesting. Let's get a Mod in here and see what they say shall we?
