Sequels bringing back the goblin(s)

how could they bring back at least norman, i had a theory that the goblin formula slowly rebiulds damaged tissue nd puts the body in a death like sleep state, it could take years or months for the healing to finish hence why norman has been gone so long

If this was a hundred movie series, then i would be fine with more goblins in the future and Norman's return. Since there will only be 5-6 movies in this franchise, they need to get over the goblins and move on to the many other other villains with great stories ready to be adapted on screen. Your theory would make sense, though.

If you want more goblins, Hobgoblin would be the way to go. Just play up the unknown identity angle he had originally, tease that it might actually be Norman (though it's not), give him a motivation that's different from the other villains in the series (aspiring crimelord) and you get an interesting villain for the films.

i was just hinking, lets say the want to adapt the death of gwen, an green goblin appears in th city, spideyswears its norman, but cant prove it thn in the final fight he is reveaked tobe norman and he explains th egoblin serums "immortality effect"

I'd like to see Norman rise from the grave and physically turn into the Goblin. I wish they had gone that route for the first film(although at the time Spidey's CGI was enough for them to tackle), instead of the horrible Goblin costume.

if they are gonna go the Sinister 6 route for the sequels to come they should bring in Hobgoblin and Michael Papajohn should play the role since Hobgoblin in the comics was a random thief that came upon the Goblin garb and gear and also since there is talk about bringing in . there were different iterations as to the alter-ego like Ultimate Harry Osborn, Roderick Kingsley, Arnold Samuel but Harry died and as far as the other alter egos the general audience wouldn't be familiar with them. but its just an idea for a way to bring in Hobgoblin. and this time around i would like to see a face mutation to make Michael Papajohn look like a deformed hunched over goblin like he OD'ed on the green serum or something. just an idea.

As much as I love the Hobgoblin, I think we've had enough goblin-themed villains. If they stay true to his character I'll be open for anything, though.

Once we get a couple of movies with no goblin, no one will be tired of seeing goblins again. It's and entirely different story that encompasses new characters. We can be open to the idea.

hughjackman fan420 put the idea forth first, it just kinda sounded good, and that way, yaw know, the people who ***** about goblins not wearing masks that allow expression to show through would be satisfied, or he could still wear the helmet and its a big reveal, he actually has the goblin features

i was unaware thats what happened in the comics, so i guess i want an adaption of it, but what about otehr ideas from other people about bringing back the green goblin, thats the main reason i started the thread

As I have said before, should they bring a goblin back it should be Hobby. And he should not return until at least SM5 or possibly SM6.
