Brooklyn Nine-Nine - Part 1

Hitchcock and Scully are now in the opening credits.

Santiago doing a death drop because the girls on Drag Race made it look easy killed me dead.

Didn't realize that Chelsea Peretti would be back so soon, but turns out she'll be appearing in an upcoming episode that Melissa Fumero is directing.

Hopefully we get to see Gina make more guest appearances. Her as one of those motivational speakers- with 1 million subscribers to boot- fits well with her character easily.

It's a testament to how great this show is that Gina always provides me with laughs, and yet I don't really find myself missing her since she's been gone. Like, the show is so stacked with talent that they can just hack a branch off the tree and I'm like "whatever, I'm good."

Glad to see we finally paid off Terry getting ready and eventually taking the Lieutenant's exam and him pulling one over everyone else at the same time.

He's always been one of the smarter characters, even if he gets pulled into wacky schemes.

I also really dug the explanation for how and why they were pulling the heist on not-Halloween this time around. Going into the episode, I don't think I even realized this would be the season's heist.

Based on how the show has treated the Heist Im gonna almost assume that Hitchcock wins the next one as revenge for bringing his twin into it & Kevin will win the one after that. It could also easily be vice versa

I await Cheddar's victory. That is the one I want to see.

Also it amazes me how they top themselves with the heist every year. It's crazy.

Is there anything about the Brooklyn Nine-Nine finale that will surprise us? –Lii
Melissa Fumero told me at the People/EW Upfront party that Thursday’s back-to-back episodes play out “like a true hour-long episode,” in which “some old, familiar faces show up, and there is a pretty good cliffhanger at the end.” Want more on the cliffy? Terry Crews loves teasing! “Our writers do a really good job of creating crazy cliffhangers, but this one is probably the saddest one you’ll ever see,” he shared. “I’ll give you a hint: it involves Captain Holt, and it’s a heartbreaker.”

Pretty fun two-parter. I know it won't last for long, but it'd be funny if Holt ended up staying as a traffic cop for at least a few episodes. Also, loved seeing Wuntch, C.J., and Stentley brought in for Jake's 'Suicide Squad.'

Each of them had been a riot on their own, but seeing them play off each other was inspired.

When I see Dean Winters in anything, I am waiting for him to play Mayhem in those All State commercials.

The Vulture felt like a womanizing, *****ier version of Mayhem.
