Okay Lets talk about the master,(well for me atleast) of martial arts the one that first stamped martial arts in hollywood like no one before. The one that revolutionized martial arts and raised much controversy in the martial arts community, but most important of all his films which one is your favorite. I will list some of the most known and the best:
1) Fist of fury 2) the big boss,3) the chinese connection 4) return of the dragon 5) enter the dragon 6) game of death. There are others I can't remember right now but the ones I mention are I think the best of the bunch to say the least. Just say which one is your favorite(s) and why
and talk about the legend here.

While "Enter the Dragon" is my favorite film of his....I'll always remember the first time I saw him ....playing Kato in "The Green Hornet". I was a kid when it first came out...and although it wasn't the best representation of his abilities...it was mesmerizing to us kids in the mid 60's.

Bruce Lee was the first international martial arts film star and opened the doors for the martial arts "revolution" worldwide. IMO he's what Superman is on the comics universe.

I wonder what's the status of the new bio pic that was reported about a month and a half ago.

BADASS BADASS BADASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanx for sharing! You did one heck of a job!!!! Great editing, visuals and music!!!!

I think my favorite Bruce Lee movie would probably be Fist of Fury (aka Chinese Connection). I've always liked psycho Bruce. Enter the Dragon is a very close 2nd.

Those are my two favorites. I enjoyed Game of Death's story alot. Too bad Bruce filmed about 15 minutes only.

Bruce Lee doesn't need appreciation. Appreciation needs Bruce Lee.

I didn't mind the butchered version of Game of Death really. I liked the story also and the Bruce impersonators weren't all that bad when it came to the fight scenes. I just hated the terrible effects/edits they tried to use to paste Bruce's head on some of the doubles lol.

LOL Yeah, I remember the cut and pastes. I agree the doubles did a very good job. One of them (can't remember his name) did Game of Death II. He played Billy Lo (a few scenes) and Billy Lo's brother that wants to take revenge for Billy's murder.

cool. I wish I could. I loved bruce lee.

Pardon me but what are Chinese Connection and Return of the Dragon?

Hmm, as far as I understand the only Bruce Lee films in chronological order are-

Big Boss
Fist of Fury
Way of the Dragon
Enter the Dragon
Game of Death

5 No more than that.
Can u elaborate Bad Supes? or will u now scuttle off in shame because I have beaten you into the ground like Galactus from Fantastic Four comics?

I see alternate spazzy names for Fist of Fury and WOTD.
Crap alternate names too.

WEll Iam not sure of how many films he made but I didn't look it up that much ,I just wrote what I remember, some of the names are alternate titles to the same movies, you should understand that with all the alternate names of each movie one can get confused if you know what I mean.

Look at my post #19...it's the IMDB sites complete listing for his work.

You're welcome.

As you can see from his list....he only "starred" in a few movies but appeared in many more films and TV episodes.

In the movie "Marlow"....James Garner plays an updated version of Raymond Chandler's "Phillip Marlow", a private investigator. Lee is one of the bad guys henchmen sent around to scare him off of a case. It's not a real big part...but memorable (at one point he completely demolishes Marlow's office with his martial arts...even jumping straight up and kicking a light out of the ceiling).

In the TV movie, and series, "Longstreet"....he teaches the blind James Franciscus how to defend himself. He of course uses some martial arts, but he was able to showcase his acting ability even more, because the action wasn't the main concentration of his character.
