Or maybe not. Check out these Hallmark wishes found in his TalkBack responses on AICN (I've de-cursed the text for your virgin ears):

I would rather eat a live baby in front of my grandma than have Michael Bay direct a DIE HARD movie. I would rather go hunting with Dick Cheney than let that car engine in a human skin leave his satanic fingerprints on John McClane. In fact, this new PG-13 thing is the only part of ruining modern action movies that Michael Bay is not personally responsible for. The rest of it is all him. Don't even f***ing say those words in the same sentence, you're only gonna give them ideas for part 5. It's like saying Candyman in front of a mirror, that motherf***er will show up and snort John McClane's soul right in front of you and then piss it out on your shoes.

If this has been posted before, feel free to delete. The site is currently too slow to search through.

[EDIT] As blind_fury found out, this was Vern and not Bruce (although he did diss Bay later).

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....that is badass and so true, I like Michael Bay but he has a point with the PG-13 thing...go Bruce Willis. :o:trans:

undoubtedly Michael Bay saying that TF is gonna walk all over Die Hard 4 on the 4th of July had an influence on what Bruce Willis posted...

...but who knows? maybe he hated Bay from the beginning.

haha!

Hartigan is cold blooded. He just ripped out Micheal Bay's(Yellow Bastard) balls.

This is quite possibly the biggest b--ch slap in Hollywood history. :woot:

Here the edited version for TF purist:

"I would rather eat a live baby in front of my grandma than have Michael Bay direct a Transformers movie. I would rather go hunting with Dick Cheney than let that car engine in a human skin leave his satanic fingerprints on Optimus Prime. In fact, this new PG-13 thing is the only part of ruining modern action movies that Michael Bay is not personally responsible for. The rest of it is all him. Don't even f***ing say those words in the same sentence, you're only gonna give them ideas for part 5. so......i guess that means Bruce Willis won't be watching Transformers, hehe

I've got newfound respect for Bruce...and I am now DEFINITELY going to see Live Free or Die Hard.

I have always liked Bruce but this just makes me respect him even more. Praise him up :)

Haha classic, i agree one of the if not the biggest b_tch slapin history!!

I found the post in question and I'm sad to report that those are not Bruce Willis' words.

Vern actually says that quote on post "May 6th, 2007 09:33:46 AM" on the "FOX - Vern has some words for you about the pansy-assing of the 4th DIE FLACCID movie" talkback.

But Bruce does diss Bay in post "May 6th, 2007 01:50:16 PM":

"Bay would have ruined DH4. Few people will work with him now, and I know I will never work with him again." - Walter B (aka Bruce Willis)

First of all is there any proof that Bruce said this garbage? Why would he bash the director who selected him to star in one of his biggest blockbuster movies(Armegaddon). Secondly, if he did say this why blame Micheal Bay for the PG rating. Fox are the ones who keep on screwing up their films(AvP) with their rating system. Thirdly, why did Bruce even agree to make this movie. I was a big fan of John Mclaine 13 years ago but, I have little interest in the character now. Finally, still don't believe that quote is from Brue but, if it is I definitely won't be seeing this film.

Have they changed Die hard to a pg 13 rating yet? Thats such a pathetic attempt to compete with TF, I hope they leave it R.

It reminds me of that episode of Entourage where the guys get pissed when they find out Michael Bay is directing A2 instead of James Cameron.

I wonder if even his Money-Man Jerry Bruckheimer will ever work with him again now that Jerry's moved on to more talented directors. I find Bay's jump to Steven Spielberg a bit sad. Spielberg is where directors go to die.... he's like the Sun in the Icarus story... just ask Barry Sonnenfeld.

? Bay and Bruckheimer are still working together... As far as new talent, I'm not sure, Verbinski's alright but he's nothing to write home about.

we know it's Bruce coz Bruce's words are in a black box (which means AICN has identified beyond reasonable doubt that the person IS said celeb).

Bruce is a drunk.
And you know him personally, of course:whatever: .... If those words really do come from Bruce Willis's mouth, than I only have respect for the man! But we could never know for sure.

Hmmm. It seems that this is real. I'm a bit surprised, but not shocked. I love Bruce Willis even more now. But, if Die Hard turns out to suck this will seem like a sad ploy. Still, Bruce can save almost any movie (note Armageddon) so I dunno.

Man, it's gonna be a great summer. :woot:

^ I think "Die Hard 4.0" will be one major badass action flick!!!

Remind me when his film comes out in relation to Transformers and which film blinked?

Willis is cool, but he needs to ditch Die Hard (this one is gonna blow.. Kevin Smith as an Uber Hacker?!) and convince M. Night to make that Unbreakable trilogy :D

A response to Bruce Willis

Hard to believe it really is Bruce saying that stuff on AICN. I loved working with Bruce. He gave me a big hug one month ago at the GM party and we talked for 20 minutes. We even talked about working together again! I mean it would be sad if he felt this way - he's never one to hide his feelings - I say sad, in that he wouldn't be man enough to say it to my face. But truly sad that such a big time actor would have to hide on a little talk back section. So I really don't believe this story.

I find it also totally odd that my agents at William Morris got the call from Bruce's people to inquire if I would like to helm Die Hard 4, but I was already on Transformers.
