From the lastest edition of TV Guide magazine. This is a big potential spoiler so beware:

Q: Does Ali Larter want out of her Heroes contract? -Barry, Naples, Fla.

A: “Malarkey!” consulting producer Bryan Fuller tells me. “We’re invested in Ali and Ali’s invested in the show.” Fuller’s crafting a major storyline for her character, Tracy, next season to reward the actress for being such a good sport. Fuller says Ali didn’t complain once while being doused with ice-cold water for an upcoming scene that lasted four hours. But the show is feeling network pressure to “eliminate” one or two original cast members. Fuller says, “We need to show we mean business.”

So I guess that eliminate one person from the list of people that may be dying at the end of this season.

One or two people eh? I assume it could be Hiro or Claire since those were the two rumored to leave. Meh I wouldn't really miss either. Hiro's getting kind of annoying and Claire keeps having to know every thing.

Kill Claire and Hiro...who cares.

Ugh.... way to kill my hope that you'll change the show for the better Fuller.

Well I mean, we would need a Hottie to replace Claire. Hiro could go, so long as Ando carries out a bit of a crusade to never let a innocent die again. Then again I do enjoy Hiro when he is actually being competent and Masi Oka seems to enjoy the show quite a bit.

What? Tracy was never ever given a fair shot to have any decent storyline so I'm happy with this choice.

Ali is too good an actress on this show to just relegate to a sideline character for two volumes, then dump.

Glad Fuller is taking the reigns and writing a good storyline for her. He was the one that also wrote the Niki/Jessica storyline during season one, so that makes me even more happy!

Right now, all Ali Larter is, is a wonderful reminder of their crappy ability of writing. "Oh oh oh, Ali Larter is still here cause um... um... LONG LOST TRIPLETS!" "Great idea!" "High five!"

She's on the list of characters that need to be Kaitlin'd out of the show. (Tracey, Claire, Sylar, Peter, Mohinder, Angela, Nathan, and Matt-with future seeing powers)

They shouldn't have killed Nikki. I think we can all agree on that.

Oh please.

And why would want to get rid of Angela, WTF? Cristine Rose is just complete awesome, been so since season one.

Because she is always going to be the writers' go-to conspiracy leader/member/mysterious person. For example... already being knee deep in the Nathan plot. Watch, next volume... she's behind or a part of another yet unrelated conspiracy.

Peter sort of has to stay. While Heroes isn't necessarily a show with one central character, Peter's sort of like Cyclops, and with Nathan being the main villian this season, he's going to have a big part.

Claire needs to go because there's absolutely nowhere to really go with her character. I'd love for Claire to finally fulfill her wish of helping people but it involves permanently giving up her powers in some way and sacrificing herself.

Hiro's starting to show signs of competency again, so I'm for keeping him. Plus, he's too iconic, in a sense. I remember when Heroes first hit, he was everywhere. He and Claire kind of brought me into the show.

I love the heck out of Jack Coleman, but after last night, I'm getting kind of bored with HRG. They can only drag on the "morally ambiguous family man" plotline for so long. Every season has him doing various unethical practices because of some consequence from his past:

Season 1 - ****ing up Ted Sprague
Season 2 - Bob
Season 3 -
He's connected to The Hunter in some way.

I have a bad feeling, though, that Parkman will be gone by the end of the season, which sucks. I like the character a lot. Grunberg is just so likeable.

And they shouldn't have brought her back in season two. I think we can all agree on that.

Nope, I don't.

I agree with you Chaester, they made such a bone-headed move in killing Niki. They should have just let her finally get over MPD and then start kicking a** with Monica and Micah in New Orleans.

Which brings me to something else, please bring back Monica and Micah. AND NANA because there has to be something more to that woman.

No, they should have written a better storyline for her, one on par with the one she got during season one.

Well, we agree on something. Finally. Or wait... have we agreed before... or at least recently?

We've agreed many times before! :)

Ah. It's just been a long time since there were good arguments on this board... especially when Villains didn't actually deliver that much.

I hope they do give Ali a major storyline and some good screen time. And if they HAVE to, they can always regulate one or two castmembers to special guest stars. Have them still be part of the show but no longer offically part of the main cast and cut down their episodes by like 5. It works for Smallville with Erica/Lois.

Yeah, Bryan just kinda killed it for me too. Why not write a great storyline, instead of writing the story around someone because they were a good sport? What about all the fans who've been such good sports supporting a show that has been getting weaker and weaker?

Are we at the point that even the NETWORK realizes that some original cast members have to go, and that the show is suffering for revolving around them?

Skip Angela... why is Peter at the center of every major super-powered event? That doesn't even make sense. I would love to have some of these guys cut to 5 eps a season... it would do me so well...

they should get rid of the whole set...their stories are no longer cute and coincidentally interersting

You mean the writers used the drawings of the future to illustrate some out of context event that hasn't really occured and now they've seemingly killed off an important character only to reveal the following week that she's not really dead?!? Surely they wouldn't do that!

Daphne isn't dead.

What makes you say that? She got shot like four times and they left her body on the ground. There wasn't even anything ambiguous about it. Its not like my girl fell off a cliff and we never found a body (Comic book death) nope they capped her.

If she's alive I'd be very appreciative if you proved it to me, buddy. :woot:

Ya know what...who knows. She could be alive. I mean, this is heroes. Stranger things have happened. So, yeah. I'm gonna leave some room for reasonable doubt. lol
