Loving the black costumes!

I hope the costumes for Rogue, Shadowcat, Wolverine and Colossus will look different but still has the same style with the costumes of Prof X, Storm and Iceman.

Well they probally will all have same style as what we have seen Xavier,Iceman, and Storm In.

I hope they give Rogue a jacket, then for Colossus, I want his costume to be sleeveless and for Shadowcat, probably a skirt? though that could look cheesey.

Skirts aren't practical. Why on earth would she wear a skirt?

My guess is a lot of the future setting will also be taking place at night, which will also be good for two things: the look of Colossus and the look of sentinels.

Don't forget Ice Man.

Why? It certainly is...

Why? I think it is. And I think it's good as it is.

Really? The cape looks like Halle took her grandma's table cloth and cut it in half and folded those halves half again (with not a stitch on them).

It just looks lazy. :(

And I don't get the things on the shoulders  Or the multiple tops for that matter.

They will probably fix her cape. Its just the 1st look for Storm but it doesn't mean its gonna be her official look in the movie, they were probably doing some tests for the costume to see how it would look like in camera.

Remember, what looks a little bit cheap in this picture, might look totally different when adding the magic of cinematography and effects.

Yeah and I doubt thats the final look. The final look will be released somewhere, not in Twitter.

Ive been thinking lately.... just 8 days after filming start, we have already seen the look of four characters of the movie:

Do you think Bryam should take a bit more time between pics, or do you want to see the look of most of the x-men before Comic Con or even the first teaser trailer?

Singer isn't going to reveal a teaser trailer before Comic-Con, if then. I don't mind the character teasers too much. Berry's is the first major spoiler, as it shows almost her entire uniform. I'm curious, though, if this is all the X-Men will be wearing or if Singer is tweeting them because he has more up his sleeve? I'm fine either way. I just want to see this stuff in the context of the film. That's what I'm really looking forward to.

I didnt mean the trailer before Comic Con, but to see all these pics before the first trailer.

This way, we wont be surprised at all with the look of most of the cast. Of course the action and set will surprise us, but it wont be as big of a surprise if we have seen the look of most main cast actors.

I know there will always be fans who dont care about seen all the pics as possible, but is undeniable that the big surprise factor wont be exactly the same

I understand your concern, but I'm not terribly bothered by it yet. We usually see some form of set pics, official or otherwise, before the teaser trailer. In fact, that may be why Singer is doing it, so some of the reveals are at least on his terms. Still, as long as he doesn't go overboard, I don't think much will ruin my excitement of seeing it all come together in the trailer.

I just hope after next two weeks, we wont have 8 pics of characters already, lol

Id love to see the movie already, but since we have more than a year left yet, I preffer to wait with a bit more mistery. And once we have the teaser trailer, they can release whatever they want

I think there was more to it than just posting pictures. He was trying to give assurances, or test reaction.

More like: "Don't worry about Beast, we are improving the look", then "Yes, Iceman will finally be iced up", "Xavier is definitely alive and in action in the future" and then a first raw look at Halle to see what people thought of the hair and costume.

No doubt they will adjust the Storm costume a little, especially that cape. But I don't think her hair will be different, as it follows on from the greying hair we saw in X3 and this is supposed to be a future beyond X3 so it make sense. They are trying to do 'hair continuity'!!!

I get the point.

He wants to build hype and take care of the fans a bit more.

But they could do the same with a longer time gap, I think.

Seriously, if we end seeing the look of 10-12 characters weeks before first teaser trailer, there wont be many surprises about the look of the characters on the teaser.

Again, I know some fans wont care, but I care, lol. And its hard to avoid the pics, everyone knows that. If I know there's a first pic of Rogue, I wont be able to avoid it, you know? lol

They have done an Amazing job building the hype, since November or so. So it wont hurt to wait more days for next pic, I believe.

I liked the original trilogy. I thought X3 gave me the action that I thought was missing from the first 2, with the team as a whole.

I'm not sure about Singer because of the character decisions they made starting out with X1. I wish Rogue was either never in the movie or written as she was!

I hope this is great. But like the comics, DOFP can re-write and add to something things!

The only thing that ever spoils a film or trailer or teaser at all for me, apart from someone telling me about an important character death or a major plot twist, are those long actual film clips you sometimes get. Doesn't stop me watching them all though lol. The point is I could see 1000 pictures and I'd be just as excited about everything upcoming.

Agreed on all this.

Considering Fox never promotes their films until a month before release, Singercan tweet all he wants as far as I can tell. Makes time go faster. Comic Con is right around the corner.

You have to give Singer leeway on X1. That was the 1st big comic book property after the failure of B&R almost killed the industry and he couldn't take any risks, had to play it ultra-safe. Also had to adapt to a harsh budget cut late on as Fox lost confidence. Feel free to judge him on X2 though. (you probably know all that, just saying)

Lets see what he does with Rogue now that he has freedom. I'm with you on wanting a lot more from her, more of the sassy Southern powerhouse. She was crucial to the plot of X1 but that muted version limited her potential in the rest of the trilogy.

Actually five, I'm counting Magneto even though we didn't see his costume. So thats half of the characters that we have already seen before in a X-Men movie.

I'm actually curious what will happen if Bryan Singer keeps tweeting and tweeting until the release of DOFP next year. I feel like he's like the only director who keeps giving us pictures of the set, the costumes, casting announcement. The tweets from the other directors like the director for TASm2 and The Wolverine are less substantial compare to the tweets of Bryan Singer.

The tweets and pics for Amazing Spider-man 2 bore me to no end!

Twitpics or not, for me X-Men are always more interesting than Spider-Man simply because there's more characters especially when it comes to the movies.
