What if Rogue ends stealing Warpath and Sunspot powers?? and end flying and with super strenght??

Did I miss something? Is Sunspot in this film?

Warpath has both super strength and flight, so there's no need for multiple characters to go down at Rogue's expense. Just one.

He's referring to the fact that Mexican actor Adan Canto is in the movie and tweeted that he 'turns into a ball of fire when angry', leading to speculation that Canto is playing the Brazilian mutant Roberto da Costa aka Sunspot.

Keep up, please. :yay:

Sunspot would be boring, we've seen Human Torch already and we had a fire-based mutant in the form of Pyro and that girl from Hellboy has fire powers, I'd rather see something completely different.

Blink might be cool but Bishop is meh.

I think Sunspot is in the past Super Film, but if for any reason he ends up all future bound, I hope he doesn't end up as another Rogue power display

Sunspot would look different then those other characters using his powers. Could be cool.

Agreed, never really been a fan of Bishop. Def some good stories with him though. More interested in how they use Blink.

Assuming Anna Paquin Isn't going back later her schedule may have forced
them a smaller role for Rogue. But,then again having Kitty In film may have meant
a small role for Rogue.

People are assuming Bishop as time traveler. But,that's a flawed assumination.
Omar Sy starts another film In Late May.That Immedetly says Bishop's role
Is In future scenes just like Wolverine and the X_men.

We pretty Much got confirmation that besides Peter dinklage all new actors
are for future scenes.

As for who time travels and how who knows. It Is defently looking like It will
be one or more physically sent back In time.Maybe that Is why Blink Is In film.

Which is what bothers me... Why have so many actors to an already "crowded" timeline? We have all the OT cast, isn't that enough? Then again, we have no idea what the actual story is, but still... It sounds like this will be more X4 than FC2.

This is a lot to take in...

One thing is for sure, the future scenes will be CRAZY Epic, lol.

These mutants arent a joke.

X3 final battle will be a joke compared to this movie, :D

I think a group of surviving future mutants will travel to the past. No way will they miss the opportunity for that. Plus, that is probably why the 70s cast list is so light - because it will be boosted by arrivals from the future. Just speculation on my part, but I think they will boost the roster for the 70s scenes by including a lot of future characters on a desperate mission to stop the critical event ever happening.

Wow, big stuff.

Excited about Bishop, Blink & Warpath!

Well In some ways this Is basiclly X4.

Bryan's calling this An Inbetweenequel said he viewed future scenes as sequel to triolgy
and 1973 scenes prequel to trilogy and his clean up and correcting things comments hint
at him wanting to use time travel to retcon things from films he wasn't Involved In.

The remaining first Class cast are most likely done after this film.Hopefully Fox put a sequel clause In contracts of OT returnees.

You have noticed that Bryan seems to not be wanting to let DOFP fall victim to Fox's terrable marketing.

Sounds like a good possibility to me. Things are going to get crazy in the 70s if it happens!

to me, to start the 70's scenes with just Hank on the school would be sooo fake and unrealistic.

No way in 11 years the school is empty

who said the school was even open yet? would make sense to start it when cyclops and jean join

If Xavier is in a "dark place" I imagine he wont be running a school.

yeah, 10 years later on the 80's.

Xavier and Hank alone since the 60's until the 80's :funny:

Maybe Xavier has some students, but not an X-Men team yet. Perhaps it's the visiting X-Men from the future who encourage him to start the X-Men in the first place.

Since Omar Sy Is as expected Bishop and I myself raised possibilty of BooBoo
Stewart as Warpath with him working In future scenes then chances are very
good Peter Dinklage Is indeed playing Boliver Trask. There Is chance they have changed It from Brotherhood trying to kill Kelly to eather killing Trask or launching attack on the 1973 Nixon Government and Trask was a casality. They can have future characters go back and bolster the 1973 X-Men but It can't be just Magneto and Mystique In 1973 trying to do this.Especilly since It's possable
Jennifer Lawrence will spend a majority of her screentime undercover looking like herself.

James Mcavoy had mentioned possibly sharing screen with Patrick Stewart. That raises possibilty of Xavier being one.Wolverine and Kitty would
be my prime candiates for going back and working with Beast and Younger xavier.

They may even have say cutting back and forth between time travelers,Beast and Xavier(Mcavoy) trying to stop event and final showdown In future between mutants and Sentinles.

sounds nice, but remember that the original trilogy happened, without the need to time travel or contact to young Charles.

So the x-men were formed without a time travel, do you get what I mean?

The time travel happens many decades later than the past events, after all.

Past happens, present happened (Original trilogy), DOFP present/future happens = so they decide to 'time travel'.

Well, it could mean that the time travel would create a whole new timeline.

Well, it could mean that the time travel would create a whole new timeline.

One where Rogue wears green and yellow and gets a perm, Storm has lightning earrings and waxes poetic about the weather, Logan wears a mask and calls everyone 'bub', Jean dies ten more times, Cyclops still plays second fiddle to Wolverine and every woman has got a boob-job.

;)

What is with all this complaining from a vocal minority about Rogue is done for simply because she has left Montreal for LA sooo much sooner than the other actors?

Between people on here complaining that Rogue will have blonde hair in DOFP because Anna was sporting blonde 'do, to Halle saying that Storm can't be badass simply because she can't do her own stunts and now this, I don't think some of you people (including Halle herself!) don't know how movies work! :oldrazz:

Solutions for these three pressing problems:

Wig.

Stunt double.

Stand-in and/or actress flying back later. :cmad::cwink:
