his jacket is of the 70s, He will appear in the past. in the future will be old because He lost his healing factor and see old Logan.

That's a massive assumption.

And DOFP isn't going to be set *that* many years post-Last Stand. It makes no sense for everyone to be extremely aged.

would lose the old for healing factor. What not aged in years would now

Hmmm.... Wig?

Wanna see the front before I comment on it. I'd say why not stick to his shorter hair, but from recent pics it is very short, so I can see why a wig may have been necessary. Cool jacket though.

I like what I'm seeing, so far. :wolverine

Is he wearing a wig? I guess so.

I hope to Zod he doesn't have his X3 hair back.... :X

at least the wig doesnt seem to have hair gel at all. To me, it has a natural look, so lets hope it looks good on the front too

They could be doing what they did with McAvoy in First Class and have Jackman wear hair extensions.

Did James have extensions?

never heard about it, either on the blueray

He had extensions for a few scenes before his hair grew out long enough.

if so, amazing work. I never noticed them on the movie.

The only scene you really notice is during the Emma Frost scene in Russia. But you have to have a good eye.

It looks interesting that they're apparently following Logan's look in DoFP. Looks like there will be at least one X-man not bothering with a costume.

Brown jacket: Check.
Gray temples: Nope.

Makes my manips of an old Hugh redundant now, lol :yay:

Not surprised though. When DOFP was written even Claremont and Byrne hadn't decided on an origin story for him, so they didn't have any reason not to age him for the story.

Now it's known Logan ages very slowly it wouldn't make sense to age him up at all for this one.

Well technically we haven't seen the front yet; he could have greying temples. I wouldn't mind seeing him older and harsher, I'm already assuming everything in DOFP takes place post-everything else. And if Jean Grey does make a spiritual appearance on The Wolverine, we'd get some relevance as to her fate in DoFP.

In the comics, Logan was the one that wasn't captured. Maybe he gets to wear civilian clothing for part of the future scenes, but he'll suit up when the rest of the team unites and they all fight together.

I'm assuming he'd be a non-Xmen or a renegade until a critical point when he returns; like his appearance in the comic itself, he'd be an outsider. It'd make the whole "you sure you're in the right side" exchange with Storm a lot more powerful. Maybe he doesn't believe in the X-Men anymore after Jean and Professor are gone. If Kitty comes back in time, Logan's character progress would be powerful. If the narrative continues on in the future even after the time traveler goes back in time, then we as an audience would be aware of things that the Time Traveller is not aware of, and maybe Logan's return could be worked into that in some capacity. I don't know what. Just speculating here.

Maybe he comes back when the Prof. X does?

Maybe Wolverine loses his healing factor permanently in The Wolverine and is allowed to age. That way I could see him going grey and getting killed.

Like most of the mutants (Magneto?), I think we'll see his ability severely depowered. Since Rogue only absorbs the life-force/powers of another mutant, her abilities are crippled (from X3's suggestion, the "cure" was never permanent). What I'd love to hear is a historical breakdown of what the humans did to mutants until the events of DoFP, maybe the time traveller tells the FC cast about the events of the first three films and we see Erik showing a lot of concern over it. I don't know. Just thinking of it is making me excited. Like that scene with Fury when he's telling everyone aboard the Helicarrier as to why SHIELD started stock-piling on weapons thanks to the Asgardians.

That's cinematic continuity that'd make a fanboy shed tears of joy. Just sayin.

I really wish they didn't go with a wig -- which after watching Hugh's twitter live-chat today, it appears to confirm it. His hair length at present would work better, I think.

I'm glad they went with the wig because its more classic Wolverine.

Looking good! In the comics the DOFP Wolverine is one of my favorite looks of the character.

Kitty gets the brown leather.

Shawn Ashmore is HUGE next to her hahaaa. I hope we can see her with Cudmore.

Ellen is just so cute. :atp:

She has no make up on. And they're in front of the camera? I wonder where they are

Daww... she's adorable. :o

Does she age? She could totally still play a high schooler. :wow:
