He alluded to her with
"Faith: Miles to go. Little Miss Muffet counting down from 7-3-0."
Buffy: "Great. Riddles."

Dawn was of course Little Miss Muffet.

To be more specific, she said "counting down from 7-3-0." 730 days is exactly two years. The season five finale happened exactly two years later.

season 2 of buffy was the best since it felt the most personal and really built on the mythology. I prefer Angel as a series with season 5 being the highlight.

Yes but Little Miss Muffet is also referring to Dawn. As the 730 is to Buffys death.

I prefer Angel to Buffy too.

Since Buffy is my first I just cant choose Angel over Buffy though I still love it. But to much betrayl, Cangel, Conner/Cordelia sex, and how basically every cast member was killed off. But loved that Harmony came on full time in S5, just sad that it had to be at the loss of Cordelia.

Yeah. Angel was a much more solid show. Other than the iffy last half of season 4 (which I still liked) the series was awesome.

I wonder how season 4 would of played out if Charisma didn't get pregnant.

I would of killed for at least one more season. Part of me is still glad it ended though. Just because everyone seemed kind of bored of the show by the end.

I wonder the same thing. I think they still were going to go with the evil Cordelia route. But it certainly would have changed Season 5 somewhat since Joss most likely wouldnt have killed off Cordelia since he and Charisma wouldnt have been at odds. It always made me mad that she was the only original charecter from Buffy to get killed.

yeah season 3 would probebly be my second fav, just season 2 was better put together

I don't. I enjoy Angel, but it took a lot longer to fugure out what it was about than Buffy did, and it's internal logic never really quite managed settled down into something consistently reasonable. Some great characters and plots, but moire technical faults than Buffy had.

Season 3 was great, but I actually liked seasons 2, 5, and 6 more than it. I liked it about as much as 7.

It's a fantastic season, and has one of my favorite episodes in it, but I found things that I liked more about those 3 seasons I listed overall. Not taking anything away from season 3 at all. Great season. Just not my favorite.

I think I would agree with this, and also pick Buffy over Angel.

Then again, why choose?

I prefer Angel. Overall I preferred its more adult tone and feel. It had more complex plots and I felt a stronger connection to its characters. Season 3 of Angel is among the best in the entire Buffyverse. The writing, acting, characterization, etc.... was top notch

Nicholas Brendon was on Private Practice a few days ago. I doubt anyone here watches that, but his performance was insane. Far scarier than any of the **** that ever went down on Buffy. His character was so far at the opposite end of the spectrum from Xander Harris that I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a guest actor emmy nomination next year.

I watch it, great performance and fantastic episode. I won't go into it here because I don't wanna hijack the thread, but it was a brilliantly written and acted hour

Haven't had much chance to continue on with Buffy in the last few days. I watched the Season 2 premiere, which I enjoyed - nice to see Buffy still traumatised by the events of the finale, and to have the Master permanently destroyed. The ending was a little heavy handed (it was a nice moment when Xander and Willow forgave her, but the heavy "happy" music was a bit much) but overall it was a pretty good opening.

The girl who played Darla is the woman who plays the mom on ABC's 'No Ordinary Family', in case you didn't know

Julie Benz (Darla) was also in Punisher: War Zone. I was sad when I realized she was in that turd :(

I'm doing a peice of fan faction where Buffy Summers and Scott Summers are long-lost cousins and they meet up cause Professor X sent Scott to Sunnydale to stop Buffy from slaying vamps cause Prof X thinks that vamps are another mutant.
What do you guys think of my idea?

so was reading season 8 and i am pretty sure Giles is not going to make it. He has a talk with faith about how girls wil still need gudence as if to say Faith can carry on in his role and also him and buffy made up and the coversation felt like a goodbye as he was heading off to do something alone to help her. Its not looking good. And watchers dont have the best record in finale.
