Julie Benz (Darla) was also in Punisher: War Zone. I was sad when I realized she was in that turd :(

She was baaaddd in that. Wow. She was one of the worst performances in the film. Which was a shame because I know she can act

Season 2 was a fine season. However, season two didnt have this....

Agreed!

I'm doing a peice of fan faction where Buffy Summers and Scott Summers are long-lost cousins and they meet up cause Professor X sent Scott to Sunnydale to stop Buffy from slaying vamps cause Prof X thinks that vamps are another mutant.
What do you guys think of my idea?

It wouldn't work, because the X-Men have fought Dracula and are well aware of the difference between Mutants and Vampires.

So me and my lady are watching the WHOLE series for the first time and its pretty ****ing awesome. We just finished Season 2 and I have watched pretty much all of Angel but vaguely remember it and am freaking out that Angel got sucked into that portal at the end. I know Faith comes in the 3rd season but how the **** do you top and awesome 2nd season like that?

Season 2 is probably my favorite.

Re-watched Passion a few days ago. I would have to say it's probably my favorite episode of that season.

you answered your own question....you add Faith. S3 just may be my favorite season. That alternates between S5 for me

We'll see, I start tonight with my gal.

I was watching Angel this morning on TNT. Why did Wolfman & Hart bring back Darla in human form? This epi and where Angel is reverted back to human form are the only epi's of Angel that I've watched. I'm BtVS all the way!

You should really watch Angel, its pretty damn good.

Love both. But Angel was easily the better show of the two.

Arguable. I think they are both equal as a complete story. I don't even consider them seperate shows really.

ibelive angel is superior, which is why season 8 of buffy in the comics kinda makes me mad since it really ignored that angel even happen.

About Darla. I belive they brought herback to distract angel and lure him make to evil.

I disagree. Angel was more all over the place thematically. It took a while to figure out what it was about. Buffy new what it was about pretty consistantly.

I always assumed your username was a Buffy reference, for some reason.

Also Buffy had more defined season arcs than Angel, which would often start a season about one thing and then end it about something completely different.

I rate Buffy as number 1, Angel a close second, then Dollhouse some ways behind and then Firefly (ducks rage of diehard Browncoats). All told Buffy was slightly better than Angel but it did have about 3 weak seasons (1,4 and 6) whereas Angel maintained it's quality throughout

Took a while only means season 1. It was pretty solid from the second season to the end. Id have to agree with those that say its better than Buffy.

Firefly is my favorite. :)

I've yet to make it all the way through an episode of Dollhouse. :(

Nah, it's from the Batman storyline of the same name. Were you thinking it was from the episode with no dialogue(aka one of the greatest episodes of television ever.)

Firefly didn't have time to full develope, had it that time it would overshadow Buffy and Angel in a heartbeat. I know thats controversial to say but there was such a Universe there and it was just squandered.

Firefly's quality past season 1 we'll never know, the closest thing we have to that is Serenity, for all we know it could have had a lackluster season 2 and just plunkered out, these things happen.

I like that universe and it's stories, but I'm nowhere near as invested in it's cast of characters as the cast of the Buffyverse.

I think I can agree with you on that Bill but I personally found Mal a much more engaging character than Buffy or Angel, hell Xander is prolly my favorite character of the Buffyverse. I also really enjoy Jane and feel that whats going on with the Shepard would have been an awesome story, argh just so much lost potential.

I dont know about you guys, but I could just never get into Dollhouse. I tried a few times and I just wasn't feeling it at all. Not nearly up to par with Buffy, Angel or Firefly IMO.

While I loved Dollhouse, I think the problem was that it was really hard to get attached to the characters. Echo was the MAIN character and everyone was rarely together, so there was never that strong frienship that happened on B/A. Buffy/Angel were much more ensomble shows. Plus in S1 of Dollhouse we already had the main storyline of "bring down the dollhouse" which would have basically ended the show after that. Woudlve been a great movie. But they needed to change things up some for the tvshow to really work. Either go the Nikita route with Echo out of the Dollhouse and part of an organization that wants to bring down all the houses, or have the Dolls have more personality than they did.
