Complete Box Set, for $90! It was a Christmas Deal on Amazon, the newest version of the sets.
cool. I got it from Amazon 3 years ago when they had it as a lightning sale for $66. That was just too good to pass up. I love the art, booklets and how the package was set up

Even though I have all of Angel, I still need the complete series boxset though I will try for the original one sicne I dont like the new one for Buffy/Angel.

I didnt realize there was a new one. Whats the difference?

There really is no difference between the Angel sets but with the Buffy set you do not get the bonus Disc "Back To The Hellmouth". Here are the pictures.

I got the new Angel one because of the deal but I got the old Buffy for my lady because it was the only one available and now its rare because I believe its out of print.

Plus that new Buffy one is just an ugly design imo.
They shouldve just done the BTVS logo on front or something and change the colors.

Thanks. Im glad I have the old Angel one. It looks better than the new one

Yeah plus you got the standard DVD packaging only with a multi-disk set up on the inside, rather dissapointing but hey she got it for me and it was a great deal. Update on watching, I just finished doppleganger and I still hate Faith im 3/4 of the way through season 3 and she is just not a very appealing character to me. I just REALLY like Buffy she is a very strong hero and character.

I loved Faith during S3 but I can see why some dont. She is what Buffy couldve been with no family/friends/guidence. Those two have some of the best fight scenes in the show.

I dont think the score for these two series' gets enough credit...

^ "I'm Game" is awesome.

Just recently re-watched Angel. For some reason I love that show, but think Buffy is decent. I'm assuming I just like some of the characters and their arcs better (Wesley's character arc in Angel is superb). Plus maybe the removal of the high-school setting, and moving it to big city works better for me too. I dunno.

Fred's death
still cuts me deep.

Wesley had the best character development out of any character in the entire Buffyverse. He truly did change ant it felt natural and progression based on the stuff he had exerperienced. For anyone that found him annoying and/or whiny in Buffy, will see a changed man by the end of Angel. His transformation in season 3 and 4 was by far one of my favorite storylines. I loved him with Lilah and loved how she helped bring about hsi darker side

Does anyone still listen to this theme song before each episode? I think this is the verry best theme song of all time.

1. As The Wish proves
2. Absolutely!

Loved Angel and it's overall quality is superior to Buffy. Frankly I always thought Buffy worked best at High School and had a hard time finding it's feet outside it

Angel has the best theme of any show ever made. Seriously...

That's why Wesley is my favorite character of the Buffyverse. I actually identify with the guy. His dark change reflected my own change when I was 17. I was glad he finally experienced peace before he finally died after being stabbed in the stomach.

I wish they had kept Lilah around in S5. Wouldve been much better than Eve in general.

But a big thing that I love about both shows is how they took very minor characters and turned them into semi big players (Jonathon/Harmony/Warren/Andrew/even Anne had some cameos)

And I always think of how Buffy/Angel wouldve gained by being produced today, probably wouldve got some web series to go along with the show (probably focusing on past slayers, animated series probably wouldve come to fruitation, lot more covers and love)

Wow season four's first disc was TOUGH to get through.

Yea, I gotta agree that Angel hands down has the best opening theme music for any show EVER

Season four as a whole was a very cool concept (unlike season six) that bad writing and acting (mostly from Blucas and Benson, though the latter admittedly improved in later seasons) really dragged down.

I mean, hell, Adam, IMO was one of the coolest character concepts in the show's run. The problem was, he was REALLY underused and undeveloped though. He killed Walsh, then just didn't show up again until the penultimate episode (save little scenes where he really did nothing at all). Just such terrible execution, throughout the season, really.

My favorite moment of season 4 was
Angel showing up and kicking The Initiative's and Riley's asses.

that was one of my all time favs as well.

I watch the whole run again of Buffy and enjoyedthe later seasons and finale alot better this time around. Watching i as a whole made me sadder for some characters ends then I was before.(dont want to spoil to much for Hush.) Still unsure if I want to inculde the comic as the real season 8 at least in my mind. Some chioces at the end really didnt sit well. esp. with Angel.

On to watch Angel all heway through again.
