This is true..

all wev been hearing is been positive
.... even the ppl that said it wasnt great didnt say it was a bad movie.... not saying u or ppl here but its funny i think ppl are really holding on to the idea that this will be am2 or f4....

Is it really against the rules to post links that have swearing in them? I have to say, that's a little ridiculous...

No more or less ridiculous than it being against the rules to post links to spoilers with a spoiler warning, in a non-spoiler thread.

But yeah, the rules seem a mite strict.

However, this is not a democracy. The Hype gets to make the rules, it's their sandbox, we just play in it. And C. Lee has a life and probably doesn't have the time to sit here and King Solomon over every decision. Easier to lay the smackdown and move on.

Yes....it is against the rules to post links that have uncensored cursing in them. Even if you think it is ridiculous....you will follow the rule or leave.

Being a (amateur :oldrazz: ) film critic myself puts me in an interesting position of both a fan and film lover perspective. I have a feeling I will have many thoughts after I see this on Saturday.

Did folks like Campea, Jahns, Schmoes and Stuckmann etc go to the premiere?

no i dont think so this was a new york premiere campea and the schmoes live in LA and stuckman and jahns dont live anywhere close to NY

This is going to be interesting. #BatmanvsSuperman

I'm guessing Wed is when it all goes down, the battle on social media. It won't be #BatmanvsSuperman it'll be #FansvCritics

He didn't like, or has he not seen it yet? I can't tell.

Actually that guy and the other girl who is a youtube film critic said they didn't like it. This guy said that it's everything he feared Snyder would do, and that the movie has lazy writing at parts. By reading the plot summary that was leaked in this forum I think he may be right :/

Those were my main concerns. Maybe the only people who liked it was people that didn't overthink it too much. People who are more harsh on movies may find it bad. I'm starting to fear for this movie.

Names please.

Then that's just a cherry on top. But what matters most is how we feel. Look at how happy this movie made these people. This is the only thing that matters.

I'm still predicting like 70% RT but that doesn't matter. We've seen from MOS what stupid things critics will detract points from a movie for.

And look at RT for MoS. Cinemascore was an A-.

Obviously it's all subjective, and AOU was both a financial and critical success, but it disappointed me on every level.

My biggest problem with Age of Ultron was Ultron himself. He wasn't threatening enough and came off as sort of a goofball, I think they could have done much better with him if they'd made him colder and more like a robot, but that's just my opinion.

But the movie was still quite fun regardless.

The guy that retweeted it saw the movie. So I assume he saw it as well.

I'm guessing even though they love it, it might be one where critics will be a bit less receptive.

We'll find out in a few days though.

Absolutely. They have to protect their investment, but the director, as the leader of the production, can instill them with confidence or s/he can... NOT instill them with confidence, and Trank was in over his head. They didn't trust him because he gave them ample reason not to.

Yeah, it makes you wonder why they'd trust Tim Miller, a guy who LITERALLY never made a movie EVER in his ENITRE LIFE, and that turns out fine over Josh Trank. Mind you, Josh Trank made a successful film for them in the past (Chronicle)...

This is the problem, though... They let these guys make a small film, and based on that small film, they give them enormously HUGE high-stakes projects where big money is on the line. Seems very counter-productive.

Every studio is trying to groom these guys to be the next Christopher Nolan, J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves, etc. It's ridiculous...

This thread is for discussing tweets about Batman v Superman....IT IS NOT FOR DISCUSSING ALL OTHER MOVIES OUT THERE.

Lazy writing.... from an Oscar winner with a highly praised script.

So I'm coming home on the train from the Knicks game, n these 2 ladies next to me went to the premiere , they had pics of Ben n Henry on the red carpet , I didn't want details but they said they loved it n had a blast !

In a battle of fans vs critics, concerning a property like this, fans always win.

I hope it doesn't come to that, though.

Damn, C Lee. Back at it again with the big red font.

We heard recently how much research Terrio did for JL Part 1, I'm sure he put in the hours on BvS as well. Anyone who accuses him of lazy writing seems suspect to me.

Criticisms of Snyder i get due to his filmography history, but not for Terrio's script, especially how it kept receiving high praise from both the cast and crew.

I don't think he saw the movie because he tweets this 2.5 hours before those tweets when everyone was at the premier
