Wait he's in Schindler's List?
Your kidding right ?

It's been a couple years since I've seen it but I don't remember him at all in it.

I'm equally curious about who the DOP will be as I am for the lead actor.
I'm sorry, I'm genuinely shocked by this. It's like saying "Harrison Ford was in Star Wars?!"![]()

I'd butcher it. Here's Kip himself explaining just some of his theories in the most simplest way.Can you or any poster briefly talk abut Thorne's theories?
That would be pretty peculiar wouldn't it? Although based on the theories they're basing the movie on it seems space will merely be a tool to time travel for events here on Earth.Oh I'm expecting a big space voyage alright. I mean, naming a movie Interstellar and not actually going into space?
My God. Just imagine the possible (and extremely unlikely) cast:
Robert Downey Jr.
Guy Pearce
Gary Oldman
Benedict Cumberbatch
Michael Emerson
Tom Hardy
Marion Cotillard
Michael Caine
Rebecca Hall
Liam Neeson
Idris Elba
Christoph Waltz
and Phillip Seymour Hoffman
Make it so, Nolan.
I mentioned this beforeCan you or any poster briefly talk abut Thorne's theories?
; Kip Thornes theories actually have a prior history with show biz. When Carl Sagan was writing Contact, he wanted a scientifically accurate means of interstellar travel for his story . So he turned to Thorne - who eventually came up with a solution that was published in peer-reviewed physics journals (and also earned one of Thornes students his PhD). Basically, it amounted to building a pair of star gates (from space-warping exotic matter) that can connect distant regions via a wormhole shortcut. And with suitable (Special Relativity) manipulations, these gates can also be made to work as a time machine. But this is all (very) advanced and space-based tech. So assuming a loyalty to scientific accuracy (and Thorne did write the original story and is exec. producer) it seems Interstellar could be/might be a full-blown space adventure. But Prometheus did fineHe'll get someone really well known. He can't afford to pull a Prometheus. Granted, people know those actors but there wasn't one that was like A-list.

quvenzhane wallis to play the ships captainmaggie riva and quvenzhane wallis for the leads.
also, cranston. go with cranston, christopher.

Isn't Lt. Dan busy with CSI New York? You know who's incredible underrated? Gary Sinise. I wouldn't mind him in a Nolan film and Nolan always picks these forgotten gems for some good supporting roles.

What's wrong with Jesse Esenberg, and why does he get randomly dumped with Stewart?
People who'd rather see Kristin 'Hobag' Stewart or that Jesse Eisenberg prat.
