IRON MAN SHOOTS
Film cameras will be rolling starting Monday at Caesars Palace when Robert Downey Jr. features in Iron Man, a Marvel comic book story that’s been adapted for the big screen.

It’s Downey’s first movie shoot in our city. Gwyneth Paltrow was also going to have flown in to Vegas but she’s now not needed for the three casino scenes. However, actor Terrance Howard will be here with Jon Favreau of Swingers fame directing. Details of the script are being kept under guard, and filming is expected to wrap by Wednesday night.

My sister lives in Las Vegas. She works at the Flamingo's main desk. She just called me and asked "Have I ever heard of "Iron Man?" Today she checked in a bunch of crew members for "Iron Man"!

They are filming across the street at Caesar's Palace tomorrow. All were wearing crew badges with conceptual artwork of IM on it. Not being familiar with the film herself, one of them explained to her the big deal of this being Marvel Studios first production.

I am not sure if she will get any more info but I will certainly pass it on if she does!

Several different posters on the IMDB message boards are claiming Hilary Swank was hanging on Downey's arm for filming, discussing SHIELD with him, and that Favreau was in the scene. No pictures could be taken, apparently. Normally, I'd take this with a BIG grain of salt, but A) it's hard to discount the notion that Marvel is expanding the MU on screen, (SLJ rumor), and B) she's another Oscar-winner to add to Marvel's expanding roster.

I'm trying to figure out who she could be. I'm thinking a cameo as herself, A-list arm candy for Stark. But otherwise, what superheroine could she play?

I'm also finding that Heroes' Missy Peregrym was partying at Pure on Saturday. This was a Nelly Furtado concert, at which Jon and Vince were also in attendance. Google her, she looks (HOT!) alot like Hilary Swank.

No prob. Yup it sounds like a big scene and just the kind of place you'd expect to see Tony Stark.

1)Herself, a movie star whom Stark is dating/hanging out with.

2)Black Widow

I see the difference between Stark and Wayne here. While Bruce hates his playboy life, Starks enjoys and recognize it as his personality's part.
