Posted: Jun 25, 2007 8:15 PM Principal photography ended with a huge bang as we filmed the final scenes of Iron Man in Caesar's Palace. As many of you already know, gambling is a casino's top priority. A production can not interfere with their cash cow. As a result, movies must shoot during the dead hours, no matter if it's Swingers or Rain Man. We were given a window of midnight to one the next afternoon to do all of our work. Part of our strategy to prepare for these ungodly hours was to stay up as late as possible the night before and sleep as late as possible. I did half the plan. The wrong half. I stayed out until 7AM and then woke up four hours later. After motoring through the delerium of a sleepless shooting marathon, I am proud to report that we have handily completed our movie on time and on budget. What a great way to end.

I would also like to thank Ceasars for their hospitality, generosity, and Swank accomodations.

The last sentence tells me that the set reports I'd been wondering about were true. Add another Oscar-winner to the cast t: (in whatever capacity).

Here begins the speculation...who is Hilary Swank playing?

Hillary Swank has a cameo as a SHIELD AGENT today

It looks like some sort of party scene. Hillary Swank has a small cameo as a SHIELD AGENT im not sure which one but in the scene she was hanging on Tonys arm and talking about SHIELD. From what I heard it sounds like SHIELD is being created in this film. I didnt bring my camera but there were a few people filming everything. I dont have any sources there is no web site or whatever but I was at ceasers and they were filming so your gonna have to go by my word and hope im not some stupid fan boy lol.

Anyways anyone know which agent she might be playing? by the way faverau was in the scene, but no sam jackson that I could see.

Hilary Swank has a small part

She has small part apparently. She was hanging on Downy, Jr's arm while he shot craps. Director Favreau is in the scene also, as a casino pit boss.
It was funny, I was filming what I could with my digital camera, but one of the crew kept going out of his way to stand in front of me. They can't stop you, it isn't against casino rules from where I was standing, but they want to keep it off youtube or something.

Is she Maria Hill? Looks like we'll have to bump that SHIELD movie up in the lineup... Sam Jackson and Hilary Swank? I'm loving this...

As for the end of principal photography, wow! So soon! Do all big budget movies end filming almost a year before they're released? I hope that bodes well, although I hardly think I should worry

10 months of editing and reshoots? Sounds like it won't suffer from the rushed production schedule of so many Marvel films, which can only be good. But it's hard to believe they're done with principal already. Seems like they've just begun.

Jon likes word games, (like when he hinted at Bridges casting, "we hired a dude"). He's also limited as to what he can tell us directly, but he lets us read whatever we like into what he posts.

When he posted, he might have seen the "Hilary Swank" thread we have going on the MySpace group and decided to throw us a bone. There's a reason he capitalized "Swank".

As for Hillary, I've done a bit of low level sleuthing and if she is indeed in it, I bet she plays either Vamentina Allegra de Fontaine or Viper.

Just to compare...this time last year they were still in pre-production for Fantastic Four 2.I'm glad this movie is not been rushed.

Very true, and on top of it, she barely fits in the current casting...

According to Kevin Feige, Incredible Hulk begins production when Iron man enters post. So that should be like...today(or this week at least)

Awesome the Birth of Shield. It would be awesome if Jackson and Swank showed up in the HULK movie as well to take control of a rampaging Hulk because they don't think General Ross is handling the situation.
