Have you ever called out a teacher? I really can't think of any other way to put it, but yesterday I had to "redo" a speech that I bommed because she did'nt like what I talked about. Long story short, I pretty much acted like a mix of Chris Farley & Bernie Mac and even though I did'nt really call her out, I alluded to her doing that in my "speech".Obviously everyone but the teacher enjoyed it, but do you think I was out of line?

Man just do the work and get out of there.
I mean really at the end of the day the teacher gives you the grade and its pointless to stay pissed at them or call them out over something like that

I've made my misgivings with the program I'm part of well known.

Was'nt really pissed at her, just havin' a little fun with her. Also I should have stated it better, but I din't call her out exactly. But i see where your going with it.

In my high school library, the librarians were really annoying. If you talked even slightly above whispering they'd yell at you and were always walking around to make sure people were doing homework.

So this one time, the librarian was practically shouting to a class that was there for work about stupid crap about how to use a computer and 2 of my friends were talking (little louder than quiet) as she was shouting to the class so she turns around says, "Gentlemen, would you PLEASE STOP TALKING!" and I said "Could YOU stop talking?" She just looked at me dumbfounded, quickly wrapped up her lecture and walked away.

My freshman year first period, this one kid kept would arrive late a few times a week and he'd always get a detention. Yet she would often come 10+ minutes late. So one day when the guy came in late, she said something like "You have to stop coming late otherwise I'm going to keep giving you a detention" and someone said "How can you always penalize him for coming late when you're always doing it too? Him coming late only affects what he learns. You coming late affects all of us." I forget the rest but I don't think she ever gave anyone a detention for lateness after that.

Could your report have "bombed" because it was not good?

Call out your English teacher:awesome:

I've never really had any altercations with any of my teachers since I'm usually the quiet student who just does the work and gets out, but one time in middle school, I had an English teacher that I hated, and one day I wrote something that she actually liked and wanted to share with the class. So she asked me "Can I read this?", and I said "I don't know, can you?" Much to my surprise, she laughed about it and took it really well.

Once I had a teacher who told be to present a project in front of the class. I retorted by pooing on her.

Dispite everyone wanting to be on the Teacher's side, some teachers do stop projects because they disagree. Which is tarded.

Sounds like you acted like an idiot. I'm a teacher and most of us work our asses off to be prepared for classes and be fair to the students. Your classmates probably think you're an ass.

There are bad teachers, but there's nothing you said here that indicated she wasn't doing her job.

:whatever: Yeah. I don't think my classnates think I'm an ass. I have respect for teachers, but not the ones that want to act like an ******* just because they dont agree with something a student said. So, just because teachers work their asses off and make more money the can use their own screwed up version of the word "fair"? Garbagemen make more money than teachers, I guess you would let some ******* give you **** everyday just because " he works his ass off".

Teachers are people. People act like *******s when faced with something they don't agree with.

True. However, if teachers don't agree with a subject they shold just explain why they don't like it, not just " Screw you, I don't like it so I don't care for whay you have to say..."

It seems like you should listen more to your teachers. Your English is appalling. From your attitude it seems like you deserved whatever your teacher said to you. And it's true that teachers don't make much money. Most take teaching on because they're passionate about it. The good teachers are the ones who will discipline you and push you to try harder, which is probably what your teacher was trying to do. And then you mouth off to him or her. :whatever:

I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt and assume you're in High-school and that you'll mature (both academically and emotionally) in the future. If you're in college, then this is just sad.

I doubt my teacher was trying to push me harder. My teacher was simply not liking my statements, and I don't like that. If a teacher is trying to push me harder then there is a better way of going by it. Oh and trust me buddy, my english is just fine. You're a teacher a so-called "mature" person and you call me a student an ass. If you think it is okay to give a student an F just because you don't like what they say, then you don't need to be a teacher.
Also, I'm fresh out of High-School thank you very much. :oldrazz:

I'm sorry, I wasn't aware you were one of my students. In fact, I've never even met you. Is there a rule out there that I can't act like a normal person when I'm not at my job? :whatever:

Mabey I should rephrase that, you talk about maturity and yet you seem to act just as immature.
