Did any of you Aussies out there enter the MySpace promo for the free tickets to TDK premiere on the 14th?

I did and fortunately won 2 free tickets to the premiere in Melbourne.

The tickets all went within around 3 minutes so im just trying to gauge who entered or not

Whoa damn, lucky you. I hadnt even heard about it. Even if I did I dont think I woulda won anything anyway. I never do

I'm from Aus.
From Cairns. Which means we probably won't be getting any early screening or anything.
I rang up my local cinema last night and they couldn't tell me anything, they told me to check the internet instead.

I'll be seeing it the day it opens though, probably more than once i'd say lol

I got tickets to the Sydney showing on Monday the 14th through the myspace thing (signed up to myspace specifically for it). So so happy. Already pre booked tickets for Thursday night, saturday night and the following tuesday so a freebie a few days before opening makes it a nice quartet.

Any Sydneysiders who are going, say gday. I'll be in an IBIHD shirt (like the rally ones)

I sadly wasn't going to make it to the Sydney one regardless if I won tickets or not, but I only have to wait 36 hours more, no big loss.

I tried and put in my RSVP for Sydney as soon as it opened but I missed out. I sent my text straight away and one of my best mates' brothers sent in his RSVP after mine and still got in so I'm not exactly really happy about it. Not really sure why I missed out as it's not a problem with my phone (I know some people have dramas with numbers that aren't 10 digits).

Oh well, congrats to those that were lucky enough.

That sucks. I've been gipped like that on other competitions.

I have 2 phones (personal & work) and tried from my personal phone first. Didnt get a response so i tried the work phone and got a response straight away saying i was denied. Realizing i didn't get a message for the first phone i checked it and there was a MMS downloading and sure enough it was the tix.

This better be a good film - just found out my girlfriend's work is taking people and partners for a night out on the Wednesday so i got a freebie there, plus i had no idea this was in IMAX in Sydney until i saw a tv spot tonight and it mentioned it - so naturally i booked tix for that as well for Sunday. So that'll be six times in 8 days... my girlfriend sure has patience with my obsession.

Yeah, I've gotten the short end of the stick with other competitions before too eg going in a myspace competition where there are twenty prizes and only 3 correctly formatted entries (including mine) and still not winning! This was one I really wanted.

I wish I had the money to go six times in a week! I might be able to scrape enough cash to go twice. Was really hoping to get those tix cause $$$ are a little tight at the moment.

I feel you regarding funds, but out of those six i'm only paying for 3 and one of those is half price on Tuesday night.

Mon 14th - freebie from myspace
Wed 16th - GF's work is paying
Thurs 17th - had to pay. Funny how i booked these ages ago for "opening day" and now i'm seeing it twice before hand.
Sat 19th - GF's family is paying
Sun 20th - had to pay but its IMAX so i had to splurge
Tue 22nd - paid but it was half price

I am seriously hoping the film is as good as it looks because thats a lot to sit through if i don't like it (i'm sure i will).
