The year 2005 was merely the beginning. The Death of Unicron saw the rise of Galvatron and the Unicron-Born, and now the Autobots find themselves in a war more desperate than ever. However, the Decepticons are not the only threat; the Quintessons have time and time again menaced Decepticon and Autobot alike.
Transformers 2005 MUSH -- now set 23 years after the events of Transformers the Movie -- is the oldest and longest-running Transformers MUSH in existence and is going strong nearly 20 years later! With the recent block-buster movie, there's never a better time to apply. The Autobots, led by Rodimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, and Elita One, struggle against the immense power of Galvatron, Cyclonus and the Decepticon army. The Junkions seem content to entertain the masses, and help the Autobots when the times become desperate. The courageous humans of Earth Defence Command struggle to adapt to new Cybertronian technology while battling both the Decepticons and a rotating cast of criminals bent on world domination.

Join a Combiner team to form an almost undefeatable super warrior. CONNECTING
Connecting couldn't be simpler. There's a full guide here, with different ways to connect, but the best way is via a dedicated MUSH client.
There's several out there, most people use them, and they are easy to use. Download one of the ones below, and connect to tf2005.mudhosting.net port 5555. In Mushclient, either click on 'new world' or 'quick connect'. In SimpleMU, select 'New Connection Wizard' from the menu, and enter the site address and port number.

Don't want to download anything? Fear not! You can connect through The Mud Connector, too!

COMMANDS
Here is a list of basic commands to get you started:
who - returns a list of online players
+where - where players are located in the IC world.
look <name> - look at someone
ic / ooc - travel between IC and OOC rooms.
+gu text - talk on the guest channel
"text - say something in the room
:text - create a pose that will automatically insert your name in front of it.
@emit text - Emit a pose that doesn't automatically insert your name in front of it.
+finger <name> - returns a character's IC information sheet.
+oocfinger <name> - returns a character's OOC information sheet.
I WANNA BE A TRANSFORMER!
Type +charlist avail for a list of all available characters!
There are currently several levels of characters. You can apply for a feature character. Alternatively you can make up your OWN character (how exciting is that!) You can transform and everything!
Applying for characters can be scary and hard. Luckily some characters are app free (These come under AFC on +charlist avail) to help you get a foothold on the MUSH. That is, if you want, you can automatically get one. You can be Gears or Eject or Ratbat!
