so if a kid can watch a PG13 trailer why can he not watch a PG13 movie by himself?

Because a trailer to a PG-13 movie may not contain the elements that make the movie PG-13, i.e. the violence, profanity, etc.

EX: The Spider-Man movies were PG-13, but the trailers didn't contain anything that crossed the PG line.

Because trailers that play in front of other movies (except R movies and redband trailers) are approved "for all audiences." Basically, the trailer is rated G while the movie may not be.

PG and PG-13 line is more relax than a R and a PG-13

Not really. Last year Slumdog Millionaire got an R while TDK got a PG-13, while TDK was much more dark and violent. The main difference between them is that Slumdog depicted child torture and a gun was pointed at a child's head, and TDK (with some clever editing) did not.

That and language. You're only allowed so many swear words before a movie goes from PG-13 to R.

As I see it, every movie depicting darkness and violence is by default PG-13, with certain, fairly nitpicky things pushing it over to R.

a big NO. from friday until next week i will avoid this thread and 100% all my CGI sites that i visit. becase they will all talk about it and post screencaps. almost 90% of sites that i visit.
no HD no trailer

ok there is 1% chance that i will watch the bootleg. if the doctor on friday tells me that i have 3 days to live.

It should be true.

Anyway. Trailer is major spoiler to basic move plot but there will be a lot more cool stuff in movie non seen in trailer. (Or at least that is was I was told)

final theatrical trailer in theater this friday. trailer goes online on thursday 29.
the trailer is 3 minutes and 30 seconds long.

and some avatar defenders are saying that FOX did a smart move to realese a new trailer. to just realese it. and because of that my brain hurts.

Cool news, but why release the trailer online a week later? Now a bunch of people will ***** about the bootlegs.

I'll watch a bootleg if it shows up this weekend.

I'd say true. It's Wednesday and 1 person is bound to see the new trailer by now. And it's very detailed. Also, info-wise IMDb forums have been legit from the start (they reported in depth the teaser trailer about 4 days before it came to theatres) so I trust them.

And by the sounds of it, this trailer seems much better than the first. LOTS OF DIOLOGUE!!!!! And "Colonel Quatrich drinking coffee in an AMP suit as his men destroy the landscape", epic!!!!

usually all trailers beat teasers excepts for superman returnst:, the teaser sucked for this film cause it left the audience including me confused, so i know for sure this trailer be 10x's better
