Can anyone Recommend ?

Sorry 4 the random thread, but i was wondering if there is anything like Planetary out there ?, i.e. using modern concepts in science to provide an X-files esque storyline. As u probably know the serries has recently finished, and its one of favourites of all time. Is there anything like it around ?

anything like it? that's tough. Planetary was good, damn good. But sci-fi mysteries are not very common

the closest I might recommend are a few other works by Warren Ellis - Ocean, Orbiter, and Global Frequency in particular. Give those a try.

Cheers mate ... very helpful , i had a look at Ocean the other day (on wiki) and it looks very interesting.
