IN season one, they saw an apocalyptic future where new york got damaged and tried to save it

In season 2 they saw an apocalyptic future with a lack of humanity and tried to save it

In season 3 they have started with another apocalyptic view of Japan with some sort of disaster about a formulae being released.

Are the cast of heroes ultimately delaying the inevitable or are they actually making a difference, Considering their meddling is a directly influence onto the events that happen? I mean the details vary but it seems mankind is destined for a big change.

It feels like terminator where all effects to change the past are ultimately in vain and judgement day is eventually going to go down whether we like it or not.

Hiro learned the hard way (the whole Charlie situation) that the future can never be changed, only altered, but the same thing will happen - the world is still forked whether they like it or not.

NEXT SEASON...ON HEROES...

Hiro: Frying Man! I got back from the future! The Sun exprodes!

Nathan: Ah crap. Well, it's a good thing I can fly. Maybe that can help somehow.

AND THE SEASON AFTER THAT!

sPirit Guide: Park-Man. The Universe is about to implode in on itself.

Park-Man: Maybe I can save us all with my telepathy and apparent ability to park cars.

AND THE SEASON AFTER THAT!

Angela: I had the most terrifying dream. Sarah Palin becomes president...

Peter: Oh **** it, I can't keep doing this. Lets all just kill ourselves.

*they all do so*

Angela:...of a small company that goes bankrupt and fades back into obscurity. I really have to stop pausing in the middle of sentences.

Its like throwing a rock in a river with the intention of changing the flow of the river. If its small, nothings going to happen. But if its big enough, the flow will change. Season 1-3 are basically sins of the parents. The exploding man, virus, and the formula, were all due to the parents screw ups. The future can be changed, but some minor stuff wont cut it.

They really should stop trying to prevent people from finding that some humans have powers, I mean, eventually EVERYBODY will find out, they should focus more on how to make people accept them and live in peace. It's hard, I know, but come on!, they can't hide their powers forever. This storyline will get old and boring if they don't move on.

The company has been able to keep it a secret for decades. Why not for a few more?

Well it seems like every disaster they advert just creates an ever bigger one. After they stopped the nuke in New York, the Virus came about that whipped out 93% of the world's population. After that was stopped it appears the entire world is going to blow up. I think ultimately what's going to happen is that they're going to get to a point where they realize they would've been better off just letting the bomb blow up in New York and Peter's going to go back in time and force himself to blow up in New York, as originally planned.

That would be a pretty cool concept of accepting our fate and realising that the company weren't actually the bad guys in this, rather everyone else who got involved and changed their paths.
