Supernatural-Season 6

I think we can exclude Chuck Norris from the list...

SPOILER ON THE DEATH!!!!

Bobby is pouring Johnnie Walker Blue Label unto the buriel site in other pics taken. So, my theory is still intact. Rufus bites the dust in this episode. Although, I am puzzled that his body isn't given the hunter's treatment.

Question: It seems like it’s been forever since there was some big Supernatural scoop? — Jeff

Ausiello: Oh, really? Well, have you heard that Cass is getting a sidekick? Because he is. Rachel — as yet uncast — will be a pretty twentysomething angel with a finely tuned BS detector. Also, when Sam and Dean visit the Old West later this season, they’ll meet, ironically, an Easterner: Samuel Colt, a middle-aged hunter who’s tarnished his own legend by becoming more interested in pouring his next drink than firing his next shot. You reckon he’ll be able to help them dispatch Elias Finch, the innocent specter out for vengeance after being hung?

This episode sounds way to cool. Who should play Samuel Colt?

Guys, enough with these fake infos! The only thing the Colt can't kill is Justin Bieber and we all know it! Period.

Hmm... I don't know, but I'm pretty sure they will choose a good actor for the role.

And hell yeah it does sound great, old west ftw! It should be interesting. Also, really nice that Cass gets a sidekick<3! I hope she will be gorgeous as the show never really dissapointed in introducing hot females!:D

Set pics from ep 17 which would be Gallow's Pole the western episode:

"Gallows Pole" may be called "Trail of the Dead".

And...the dude holding the wanted poster looks like Dr. House.

Rob Benedict (Chuck) will be appearing later this season. So if Chuck is God what purpose God would have to be in the story now?

I won't believe he's God until he comes out and says it.

seriously....I still say prophet because many texts, not just the bible, have prophets as being immediately bought to Heaven or wherever as soon as their "purpose" is served

their reward for serving the higher power

Some info on the upcoming episode:

1. Meet the next Big Bad. While the focus of Season 6 thus far has been retrieving Sam's soul, Friday's episode introduces viewers to a new villain who is, dare we say it, more formidable than those who have come before. Lucifer was scary mostly because of his name and the history around it, but when you find out how the next foe is released, there will be no "Sympathy for the Devil" involved.

2. Rise and shine, Sam Winchester. We won't tell you exactly what condition Sam is in when he eventually wakes up from Death's little procedure, but he does wake up - and that Great Wall in his head may not be as durable as Dean had hoped. As Castiel says in the ominous preview clip below, Sam's soul has more or less been skinned alive, so a bumpy landing is to be expected. We've already said that we think Jared Padalecki has upped his acting game this season. We're still impressed, now that soul has met body.

3. Virgins in a cage. Enough of the touchy feely crap! Winchester family trouble has never given the creepy-crawlies pause, so far be it from the bad guys to stop being bad guys long enough for Dean to figure out how to approach Sam's new condition. The episode has all of the B-movie horror goodness we've come to crave from "Supernatural" - seriously, virgins in a cage - plus an original twist on a timeless legend. (Basically, the coolest dragon ever.)

4. Remember Season 2? We've gotten so used to the Winchester brothers lying to each other for episodes on end that we had to pick our jaws up off the floor during a particularly refreshing moment of honesty. The Zap2it staffers in the office all agreed that it felt like Season 2. Sam and Dean appear to be on the same page -- at least momentarily.

5. You will laugh out loud. The physical comedy that Jensen Ackles is so darn good at reaches a high point in this episode (not to say that he doesn't tug on our heartstrings as well) -- as do the one-liners and pop-culture references that prevent the show from getting too dark and dreary. (Let's just say we hadn't pegged Bobby for a "Harry Potter" fan, but apparently he really does read everything.)

I am excited for the reveal of the big bad.

Yea I havent really been getting everybody's *****ing about "How can you to Lucifer?" He's just Lucifer! If Supernatural has done one thing I absolutely love its the fact that in the Supernatural universe ALL (presumably) religious idols actually exist in some kind of form. That being said and taken into consideration, it really isnt inconceivable that Lucifer is exactly how Death described him "a baby having a temper tantrum" or whatever he said. Hell I think if anything Death would be the single most formidable foe ever introduced on the show but then again he really isnt a foe per se. So I wander who or what it'll be????

Well it's not that people are opposed to a villain being more dangerous than Lucifer... it's just that there's fear that the show would have to do something drastic and preposterous to create a villain that demanded that kind of respect.

I mean, whether you're a Christian or not you know that the idea of Satan is commonly associated with a be all, end all evil.

I'm curious, but worried it'll fall flat. Honestly, filling the shoes of Satan as the villain is going to be hard - but not because of who/what Satan was in the terms of the character... We spent almost all of Season 4 just building up to this character's arrival on screen, then we got a full season of him nearly destroying the world - all while being played by a very gifted actor in Mark Pellegerino.

And now we're going to introduce a new Big Bad that's supposedly even more powerful halfway into a season that could be the show's last?

There is absolutely no news that this will be the last season of the show

Its gonna be hard to top Satan. He wiped the floor with a hotel full of pissed off pagan gods by himself and with very little effort. This new guy is gonna have to off Death or something to top that.

Lol...bad thought in my mind.

Chuck comes out of a closet, "I'm...GOD!!!!!!"

He's not just Lucifer, imo. He destroyed a hotel-full of Pagan Gods.

I don't think the writers will try to top Lucifer, but picking a villain that goes well with the Purgatory arc, imo. Right now, it's not a "Winchester v a powerful villain" storyline, it's more like a race to find Purgatory kind of deal. Well, it is for as of right now; next season, as I doubt this is the last, may be a "Winchester v Big Bad" kind of deal, but for right now, I don't think it's needed to be viewed as they're trying to top Satan.

That seems like something that could possibly happen. Kill Death with the scythe and having that weapon of its own.

Kali gave him some trouble now. That was one thing I did not enjoy about that episode at all. Lucifer just mopping the floor with the likes of Odin, Baldur and Ganesh smh. Who was the asian god?? Im just wandering cuz he had one of the greatest lines ever uttered in any medium "Don't you mock my world turtle!!!" Hahaha I still love that line

Zao Shen; the Chinese kitchen god, lol.

I didn't like how he died, imo, because it was the same way as how the Christmas Pagan Gods died in "A Very Supernatural Christmas". I would've liked it if they had to kill him a different way.

And, I actually liked how Lucifer killed them with ease. It should that, with Supernatural, Christian mythology is the "top dog" so to speak. It makes sense with SPN being an American series, lol. And Kali didn't do much, imo. Her powers did nothing to Lucifer. Although, I wouldn't mind seeing her return for the Purgatory arc.

It was Zao Shen. The Kitchen God from China.
