For some reason the Hype won't let me log out of my account. I've tried clicking both the link towards the upper right of the screen, underneath where it says "Welcome, etc, etc," and I've tried clicking the Log Out button near the buttom of the Board Index page.

Neither of them work.

Hm. I've never had to do that before when logging out, but it worked. Thanks.

Next time eat your cookies with low-fat milk and it won't be a problem.

i had that same problem last week. however i still couldnt log out even after deleting my cookies. it happens every once in a while.

never happens in firefox though.

PS- Dog Lips?
i never got a password reminder to thet email you helped me re-find last week. SHH said it was sent but never arrived. the email aco**** receives other messages fine. i'll try again tonight.
since i can't log out here at work on IE:cmad:

If you clear your cookies, then you're logged out. If it still says you're logged in, it's just that the page is cached. Clear both the cache and cookies and you'll definitely show up as logged out.

nope. not in IE. pretty weird, huh? I tonly happens once in a while, but when it does, its annoying. i went so far as deleting everythign in my histroy, directly deletin the files form the Temp INET folder, and, just for kicks, restarting my computer.

still logged in.

(granted this problem only happens once in a while and usually clears up in a day or two)

I usually don't log out, but my sister has the habbit of coming onto the Hype, and I don't know if she actually posts or just reads the boards, but I'd prefer for her not to have the option of posting under my name in the first place.

Ah. I know the feeling. There was this weird incident where another poster, The_Question, accidentally pirated my account be cause, by sheer coincidence, we had the same password.

Instead of starting an entirely new thread for the subject, can someone tell me why my computer seems to have trouble reading floppy disks (yes, I still use them occasionally)? It sometimes says that the disk isn't formatted, and this is after I had just been using it on another computer, so it was functioning just fine seconds beforehand.
