I love how, with one-tenth the budget that "The Dark Knight" has, Bat In The Sun's short films have the better suits. It's mind-boggling.

One tenth? Like... one one-hundred-thousandth maybe =)

And I think they do a very kick @$$ job. Makes me proud of indi film-makers to see them out-doing Hollywood when it comes to dollar for dollar quality.

I've never really had an issue with the cowl's "design" until they lost the neck, but kept the rest of the design almost exactly the same. Now what makes it look lousy in certain shots is the "neckpiece" of the costume in relation to his head, and the relative organic nature of the cowl compared to the mess he's wearing as a costume. The "bones" are just kind of there, they're not entirely anatomically correct, but neither do they need to be. He's supposed to be Bat-Man. He's not supposed to look entirely human. It looks awkward, but then, it's supposed to, I think.

It's almost as if Louise Mingenbach got her nasty little hands all over it.

The face of the cowl is perfect, in my opinion. The only issue is the shape on the head and the cut of the mouth.

As for the neck, well, the Begins neck looked just as bad as this one, just for different reasons. In any case, the TDK neck looks fine in as many shots as it looks bad. Unfortunate that we couldn't have a neck that looks good all the time, though.

should his mask not deform his actual face ??? as for that i love the mean eyebrows in the new look...and as a fan of bulky looking necks and shoulders i also liked the 89 batman but for the capability to move this is going in the right direction so far....

i kinda want short horns on the cowl. batman's always had long horns in the movies, i think short horns might look kinda cool. just not adam west short, lol.

looks better in the second picture as there's less of a flash. I can understand how people would outright hate this suit but for some reason I like it. The legs are overdone however

His ears were short in BB and thats one thing that always bothered me. I like to have Batman's ears longer
