The Dark Knight Capes and Cowls - New Batsuit Discussion Thread

Unfortunately this suit is too confusing to a lot of people on these boards. I'm worried that they won't be able to follow the plot because the suit's legs are so distracting. For them it'll be like watchign the movie while trying to solve a Rubik's cube.

Well I don't see how that could be, I don't really think there will be just one part of the suit that people will focus on especially during the movie. Maybe people are analyzing things to much? I have been guilty of that quite a bit lol.

Especially because of the now-too-popular-so-it-should-be-criticized-so-I-stand-out-as-enlightened realism that Nolan tries to maintain in his Batman movies. It would just all be so much simpler to follow if it were a more fantastical take on Batman's world.

I happen to like the way the movie is done now. I like the the fantasy type world that was created in the others but it is nice that they make it more real now.

The depressing part is that, once upon a time, there were at least a few people in this thread (on either side of the debate) who were making cogent arguments. Now it's mostly people who think complaining about other people complaining is... better than complaining. Somehow.

I would like to think that most people are actually waiting to see the film to decide how they like the suit, before having someone make up their opinion for them. Well thats me having some sense and being realistic I guess.

Explain how what has been seen is insufficient to determine whether or not one likes the suit. Also explain what, precisely, indicates people are allowing "someone [to] make up their opinion for them." Finally, explain how disliking the suit indicates that one is lacking "sense" and is not "being realistic."

Ok what I was doing was being sarchastic about the fact that some people are making up others minds for them on these boards. Ok so for you maybe you can be 100% sure that your completly happy with the new TDK suit after seeing three trailers and about probably 15-20 shots of the suit, maybe. I for one just said that I WILL reserve MY full judgement about the suit until I see it in its full mobility through the course of the film, for me as a person it takes me than just a few shots in trailers and pics for me to be sure Im 100% and I repeat 100% satisfied withy the final product.

Ohh and I think you read wrong Saint, the sense part had nothing to do with liking and or disliking the suit, it was sarchasm towards people hating the suit so much for the design of the legs, read into it a little more my friend.

ok first im not american;-) the thing is that you asked me if i try to follow the discussion in an serious manner...... i try
...i mean i got some own taste .....but after your question i thought, you ment that it has no sense to go over and over on such questions, like legs ears and stuff.....so i answered you that i think its better to leave such discussions and just participate with a few comments and especially art.....
