Some of you guys have a lot of interesting opinions on Batman, so maybe you'd like to help me out with something -- Batman as an individual in conflict with society -- http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?p=14891629#post14891629 . It's in the Non-Spoilers section, which is No Man's Land here, so I figured I'd give a head's up here.

i like the tdk suit. most of the people i've talked to agree it's an upgrade, and looks better.

funny thing about comic fans; they're never pleased with the things they're fans of.

i'm just glad they used the same utility belt. continuity purposes.

Reposting the BEGINS suit pictures...it just makes me think they took the ugliest, least "Batman" design elements from that suit and made them worse.

GUARD: Hey, I saw you were you on here. Look, I am going to have to let you have the final word on our “Legs of the DK Batsuit discussion”. If you regard that as a “win”, well, be my guest. I start a new job tomorrow and I am swamped with duties, so no long posts from me for a few days. Do I at least get points for defending the “road maps”? You have to admit that took some nerve for a newbie poster!

Also, I could not look at the close up of the design you posted Friday…only the thumbnail. Am I restricted being a newb? From the thumbnail it reminded me of Bruce Timm’s Bats from the Justice LORDS, (which is definitely a fun design). Wish I could see your work better. I like seeing everyone’s ideas, (Lujho, Bunk, etc.). One of these days I will get some of my own up here.

You can't win at opinons. Always nice to have a levelheaded discussion with someone, look forward to your return. Not sure why it only lets you see a thumbnail. Maybe it's a settings issue. Try your control panel/settings. That design is basically just an all black suit with a metallic/armored bat-emblem for a chestplate and some gothic elements.

imo the ugliest was the sculpted muscle suits now that was ugly. the bb suit is one of the best.

well IMO i think that TDK is the best looking suit ive seen in any of the batman movies to me it just has everything from the ability to move quick and fast and the style, i know some hate it but for me i really dig the new suit.

As far as looking like Robocop, the TDK suit has nothing on the god awful "accelerator suits" the characters have in the GI Joe movie.

That looks hideous. I dont even know why they would have the GI Joes wearing something like that.

I think that kind of look for the Batsuit would please most of the fans. Especially the headpiece. I think that would solve all of the bobblehead/egghead complaints, and he looks like he has full neck mobility too.

I brought it up because it seems that your attitude is "all non-plated superhero suits are silly looking" so Superman was an example of one that was tights and underwear and worked great.

Kent may be bullet proof but I never understood how his costume seemed damage proof. Fire, Floods, nuclear explsions it never gets a crease.

Right? That's what I was wondering. I also dislike when you can see the undersuit, and that the padding is clearly glued atop the spandex type material. I know that is the way it's done, but there are ways to make it more seamless. That suit looks like crap.

It has just about everything that most people who have a problem with the suit want. It's more organic looking, no techy stuff on the suit, not busy-looking,, form fitting, gray, and the helmet doesnt look too big for the body.

Maybe you think I meant the suit as is.. If so, then no. I meant that if they were to tailor the rest of the suit that doesnt fit Batman, like the pants and alter the helmet design to look like the Batman's, it would please the people who dislike the TDK suit.

No I got what you meant, but it just looks like a worse version of the B89. IMO

How bout this, an awesome new plot point: Superman's got an invisible force field nobody actually knows about. It's such a great twist, the writers didn't even plan it, it just happened on it's own.
