I had seen this before, but stumbled upon it again. Some of you may find it a neat bit of info.

I was looking for something like this to come out of that camp. An on-screen representation of what makes this design preferable, or even a necessity, would go a long way towards appeasement.

Now that all the grey is pretty clear, the suit has actually grown on me quite a lot. Just something about it. I can really see him kicking ass in this thanks to this picture.

And I am really diggin' that Nightwing variant on the costume too.

I LOVE this mod, and this concept...Seriously thinking about making one of these two pics my Avvy...Nightwing would be totally win, but there NEEDS to be a Robin beforehand, or else things would just get jumbled and confusing.

heh, it's funny how nightwing as a character totaly works, but robin, well, just doesn't. I still wonder to this day what bob kane was thinking when he invented that little twerp.

It's a character kids can relate to more. Growing up I absolutely loved Robin. Adults sometimes forget that Batman isn't just for them.

QFT...I totally idolized Robin as a kid- had the Pajamas and cape, the domino mask and all that...Then growing up, I still played with Robin action figures and had an appreciation for him more...Then I discovered Nightwing- and he was even more incredible in my eyes...But just something about him doesn't translate as well to the live-action Batman movies...They cast him way too old in the Schumacher films, but I feel if a director really wanted to focus on the close bond between Bruce and Dick as a father/son relationship- and if they researched his character in depth throughout the comics, they could really make a worthwhile Robin. Nightwing would be even better...He needs his own movie franchise, to be honest.

Exactly. I always dressed up as Robin and my older brother was Batman. And damn did I feel cool in that Robin costume. Thats why we have 'The Batman'. Most of the adult fans get pissed off and wonder why we don't have a dark Batman show. Well its because we have dark and gritty comic books plus a new movie franchise that isn't exactly for kids. What the hell are the kids who love Batman supposed to watch? Their parents aren't going to let them read comics with Batman punching the Joker until he almost bleeds to death.

Well, i'd rather have a small, techy, modern, beautiful belt that can fit cars in it, rather than a huge plummer belt with huge pouches.

Did you not read a word I said? Again: the size of the pouches will be dictated by the gear he is carrying, which means they will be the same size regardless of which belt he wears. A pouch of fabric does not magically need to be larger than a metal compartment. Get this through your head.

Also, do you honestly not recognize the difference between a "plumber belt" and a duty belt, as worn by police?

At least make the pouches more modern. Maybe out of something else rather than leather.

Did you even look at the picture? The pouches aren't made of leather.

In any case, i dont see why Nolan's is inferior to the one in the comics.

IMO,Robin can work with the right direction. I thought the way he was handled in Batman Forever was acceptable.
