It looks bad in more than one picture. The nose issue has been brought up many times before.

Can you show more pics that the nose looks bad cause so far the only other pic that the nose looks bad is that cardboard cutout for the Reese's promotion and to be honest it looks like the SAME exact picture, which I just realized.

Are you serious? Have you never visited this thread before?

Show me another picture where it looks bad (discounting the one where he's walking through the interrogation room; the shape of his head is the problem there, not the nose). It looks identical to the Begins nose in every other shot; the only circumstance where I can understand people complaining is if said people didn't like the Begins nose, either (for some reason).

Feel free to post BB shots that compare the two in the same angle. I don't see it, to be honest.

Here you go:

I suppose the TDK nose is a little longer, but that's really more of an issue of how low they cut the mouth.

Well, there ya go. The mouth cut and slight nose extension do make a helluva difference.
I really don't think so. The difference is there, but I disagree that it's an important one.

In that shot, it doesn't look like a 6 year old wearing daddy's motorcycle helmet.
Nor does he look that way in the picture you posted.

I do actually see a difference in them, not alot, but a little bit.

With regards to the comparison to the Begins nose, I think it really depends on the angle. I'm sure if Bats had his head hunched in the Begins shot like he hunches his head in the "WHERE IS HE!?!" shot, then we would see the nose look closer to the mouth.

Is it possible that Nolan wanted the Batsuit to look funny? That he wanted the audience to suppose that criminals were given a sense of false security? I can't think of any other reason for the thing to look so hilarious.

You don't think in some shots that the cowl looks too big for his head? That's a chief complaint here.

No, the TDK nose is definitely a little longer.

I seriously doubt that, its not possible, very funny.

Where did I say it wasn't? LOL :woot:

I was merely touching upon the fact that the angle of the shot can have an influence on how we can perceive the facial features on the cowl.

Is that what I said? What I said was that he didn't look that way in the picture you posted, the implication being that the nose doesn't cause any such effect.

That said, the cowl size isn't the issue. It's not too big for his head. It's probably smaller than the Begins cowl, overall. The issue is that the neck, even smaller mouth, and possibly the shape of the head sometimes create illusions to the contrary.
