It's almost like the designers sent away for the new Batsuit. Then when it showed up without directions, they said f*** it and put it together anyway. "It doesn't look like the box.."

Lol I do that **** all the time.

I have real problems with the TDK suit, and looking at the milk ad has made them me more worried. The worst part is that a few minor changes would have made it at least a little more asthetically pleasing. Narrowing down the shoulder padding, and getting rid of a lot of the paneling on the legs and abdomen would have done it wonders.

This shot of the cowl looks good .

Sorry...I keep looking atthe milk ad and I still haven't warmed up to it this new suit yet.

the cowl is the thing that worries me the most because that's the MAIN part that you're going to notice anytime you look at Batman. I hope that Nolan picks the right angles. and i believe that he should go with another cosutme designer next time.

Isn't the costume designer the same one from BB?

In terms of designs, aside from the damn stupid nipples, the Schumacher's deepest fantasy codpeice, and the belt, this suit was actually not a bad streamlining of the previous designs from 89 and Returns. I hate Batman Forever but there are some shots where this particular suit really worked IMO.

I'm with you on that - I've always thought this was the best pre-Nolan batsuit

Man, I don't know. I really love the new Got Milk? shot of the Batsuit. I think it looks great, and the legs are starting to grow on me. I love how protective the suit looks, but for the first time, it's not just a thick rubber suit with fake muscles. It actually looks like armor that can bend comfortably as each body part does, with very little restriction and no rubber creases.

I especially like the abdominal section, because for the first time, it appears Batman can bend his body properly. In Begins, the suit was so thick and stiff that when Batman was standing up, it always looked like he was throwing his chest back and standing straight up, especially in those infamous promotion pics with the white backgrounds. I'm also a fan of the cowl and cape attachment, which is infinitely better than the notches from Begins.

I agree with this post very much.

Best pic ever of this suit.

He just needs a subtler set of shoulder pads. They look too knightley and protrude too much.
