I'll be honest though, however good the batsuit could ever be, it will never be as awesome as that of Ironman. Man that suit was ****!

Yeah, different purposes, different heroes, whatever.

That calibration thing the Mark II did? The Head Up Display? The helmet that opened up? The way he suited up? The flares, the repulsors, the guns on his shoulders, the rockets, and saving the funniest for last, the mobile phone!

I just cant look at a puny batsuit anymore, however good it is. But i guess i am all excited after seeing the movie. Soon i will calm down.

That is the sweetest pic of the new suit i've seen to date.

I'm in awe of it

Man, I don't know. I really love the new Got Milk? shot of the Batsuit. I think it looks great, and the legs are starting to grow on me. I love how protective the suit looks, but for the first time, it's not just a thick rubber suit with fake muscles. It actually looks like armor that can bend comfortably as each body part does, with very little restriction and no rubber creases.

I especially like the abdominal section, because for the first time, it appears Batman can bend his body properly. In Begins, the suit was so thick and stiff that when Batman was standing up, it always looked like he was throwing his chest back and standing straight up, especially in those infamous promotion pics with the white backgrounds. I'm also a fan of the cowl and cape attachment, which is infinitely better than the notches from Begins.
I agree with you 100% my freind :woot:

"****?" :applaud

Is it just me or does Bamtan's upper body look really trunk-shaped? It just goes straight up. That really shows to me that Bale didn't put on as much weight as he did for begins.

It's not just you. I think the shoulder pads were to correct that a bit. He is very straight. The suit is also a great deal more snug than the BB suit appeared to be.

Im not sure what your trying to point out with the suit but, Yes Bale did not put on as much weight as Begins. But really Muscle mass is not a necessity

You've got an awfully weird fixation on sculpted abs and muscles, dude. Are you sure there isn't anything you need to come to terms with?

Hey, we're here for you.

dont ask such a stupid question seriously im talking about the suits.

Long, long, long time lurker, first time poster. I know alot of people are not digging this suite. And some are saying that Bale's body is not up to par with where he was in the last movie. But I think we are going to see some nice fighting with this new bat suite. That was my one major compliant with the last movie. And Bale looks very slim and lanky, like a gymnast.

a thought id like to share....if bruce would be a realy huge muscle guy...wouldnt it be even more obvious to think that he could be the batman???(right after he came back to gotham...and the batman appears) i mean its a story on wich the teller decides if or how his identity gets discovered or not...
but its harder to tell if a more "normal" looking guy will be able to fight a few people at once.

True, he isn't as big, but he's also not coated in thick rubber..

Yeah, because a human looking body made of rubber is much worse than a geometrically plated robot looking suit made of rubber. You don't have to be a fan of the 89 suit but how does a suit taken from a math text book fit better in any universe than one intended to look muscular and imposing? At least the previous suits were intended to look as if the person wearing it was muscular, this is just a design and nothing else. The problem here is, in my opinion, is that there have been seven previous rubber suits that varied for each movie. The TDK suit only enhanced the rubber idea rather than enhancing the Batman myth of a man fighting crime based on skill and strength. The suit should not be the only thing that defines Batman, but in this case this one forces us to concentrate on the seven thousand designed plates rather than making it look like Batman. Ears and a cape don't make Batman, however many sheets of zippy foam does not either.

Exactly. Batman is made by the interpretation of the character, not what he wears. And that's something these movies do well. So stop complaining so much.
