By how it's apparently made in the film he'd probably "wipe it gently with a damp cloth."

Apart from wiping out the abs i dont see much of a difference here. Well, you made the emblem black so that it stands out.
I liked it better the nolan way. Both in BB and TDK he has the emblem somewhat concealed, so that he can please fans and pay tribute to batman's design, while at the same time making him intimidating without him having a bit neon sign with a bat on his chest.

Also, the B89 suit looks ancient. How can people like it anymore?

This is what happens when you go for anatomical representations on this type of armor, and you don't mold it to the actor's body.
Look at the pecs on the Joe armor. The "pecs" are almost, if not, below his sternum. I haven't seen one of the Joe armor suits that didn't look like some sort of "one-size-fits-all" halloween costume.
I'm liking the DK suit more and more all the time. I had made the point that if the mesh undersuit and the armor plates had less textural contrast, the complaints might not be so vehement, and I have the feeling that seeing the suit on the big screen will fix that issue.

Because its BADASS! Just because something is dated does not mean people arent going to like it, its still personally my favorite on screen bat-suit, are you sniffing glue or something, give me a break.

I've been defending this cowl since day one, but from some of the TV spots I've seen as of late, I'm a little worried . . . if only the mouthhole was bigger, it might offset the 'bulbousness' of the head . . . :~S

As I've said on other forums...the armor is too segmented. I'm growing to like the kevlar mesh/armor combination, but it just seems the armor is segment in places that don't require it to increase mobility. It almost looks as if there is an individual piece of armor for each muscle in the body as opposed to segmenting the armor in at the joints and a couple of other places. I think I counted that one leg had like 10 pieces of armor...thats way too many. I like the suit, but most of the armor should appear more solid.

But the opening around the mouth is to small. I've never seen the opening so small, not in previous movies, not in the comics and not in the tv-series. It makes his cheeks look to "small" and his face is less masculine and looks more like a cat. Judging by the head only he looks more like a Catman then Batman.

Suit looks badass, I'm sure most if not all of the shots in the movie will make the suit look amazing.
