Help! I'm trying to add a Scarlet Witch avvy, but it's telling me the file is too large.

Help! I'm trying to add a Scarlet Witch avvy, but it's telling me the file is too large.

When you go into your "Edit Avatar" page in your CP, it should list both your dimension limit as well as what your file size limit is in a "Note" down at the bottom (i.e. "Note: The maximum size of your custom image is _____ pixels or _____KB (whichever is smaller)". What does it say for your limits?

See if this one works - if it says the file size is still too large, I can reduce it a bit more (but then the color quality starts to suffer):

http://www.online-image-editor.com/ you can 'upload' a gif via your computer or through a url. Using that I just cropped it down to an exact square (i think i did 145x145 on yours), then resized it to be 75x75. Finally, I went into the "Wizards" tab and clicked on "Gif Only", there's an option in there that lets you 'reduce colors' (which helps get the file size down) it gives you 3 options of how much you want to reduce, telling you what the file size will be with each one. After applying it once, you can then go back into the same option (click Gif Only again, then reduce colors again) and apply it again (and again and again, layering the 'reducing' on top of each other) to get the file size below the size you need. Though I think on yours I only reduced once just to be on the safe side since, as I said, doing it too much the color quality starts to suffer (grainy/pixelated looking)
